A must-have for serious photographers
I got this so that I can quickly draw my camera during photo shoots. It's handy and doesn't create the problems that some chest/rapid straps create, which is the strap sliding around. This fits around your waist and seems to stay put. The latching lock for the camera lug is also nice (prevents you from accidentally dropping the camera from it getting bumped). Would recommend for anyone how is doing on-location shooting, such as portraiture and needs to constantly pick up/put down the camera. It's probably not as "secure" as a rapid strap (from theft) but it does the job and the price is OK.

Long lenses don’t have to hurt your neck or wrists
After I saw someone using a hip belt, I gave up on a chest-based carrier, and was able to up my bird photography with longer lenses (telephoto and now a 600mm prime). With the Spider Holster, I have been able to take my gear even on 1 or 2 week long birding trips, comfortably! With the weight above my hips, it becomes just part of my clothing. When I’m on level ground, I keep the safety off and can draw it quickly up for a shot. On uneven ground, I may put the safety on so it won’t chance bouncing out of the holster. If I’m riding in an open vehicle over bumpy roads, I will set the camera on my lap. I am noticing a little bit of wear on my older belt’s fibers, but the latches all still work fine. I would advise getting in the routine of checking the mount on the camera’s base before each outing, as it can loosen over time and risks slipping.

Fantastic
So glad to have something to carry my extra camera that isn’t adding weight to my shoulders on a wedding day. This came in perfectly handy and plan to use from here on out!

Had to return them.
Heavy and stiff. Did not work for us.

Dinero bien invertido

No more neck pain
I take my camera hiking a lot, and this removes the pain from having the camera and lens hanging from my neck. I've tried shoulder harnesses, and they interfere with a hiking backpack. This sits low enough that it doesn't interfere with hip straps on a backpack. I was worried that the camera might constantly shift in the holster, but it hung pretty steady while hiking. Would definitely recommend for anyone taking a camera hiking. I have a Nikon z6ii and was testing it with the kit 24-70/f4 lens for reference on weight.

Just a Must Have item!
These Spider belts, if one is a true photography enthusiast or pro, just cannot be beat! The large comfortable belt spares your neck and shoulders, allows a large mirrorless camera and lens to be comfortably carried, quickly selected and used in only a few seconds! The Spider clip is heavy durable metal, quite strong and reliable with an easy fast locking mechanism as well. I have a clip on all three of my work cameras! Shoulder straps never again! And, for bicyling, just great too!
