Q: Can i use philips hue a19 bulb in them?

I suspect not. I've found that the "hue" series often don't extend enough into the socket of older lamps to make contact. This product calls for a conventional "flame shape" bulb, 60W or less. BTW: It's difficult to install. It requires no less than three hands. But it looks great.
