Vitalsox Silver Drystat Graduated Compression Socks (2 Pack), Medium, Black/Black

Really nice compression socks for many purposes
I originally bought a set of these nearly a decade ago for travel and they've held up really well. They don't have a super constricting cuff and are comfy through the forefoot (and warm enough) for long international flights. I recently had an injury that required compression socks and others hurt. I dug out my old receipts and bought a bunch more of these and they've held up well against the swelling, remain super comfortable, don't have any hot spots and really help with recovery. They are a good value. I've done some basic workouts in them, and due to the warmth (which is really nice for day-to-day wear) I wouldn't do strenuous aerobic exercise in them.

Good compression socks
Fit is a bit personal - but here goes. These socks fit my feet just right for comfort there and they do have graduated compression. They seem strong. I just got them - so I can't say how well they'll hold up in the wash (I use delicate cycle / woolite detergent) and air dry in the dryer for these. I had a different brand before - but wanted to try these. I found the mediums just right with a 9.5 foot size and I actually have reasonably large calves (I'm 5'9" and 165 lb male and mediums are just right). These are comfortable and seemed cooler after I washed them. I bought enough pairs for the week. I hope they hold up well. Edit after several months: still good.If your legs swell, you may want to try these supplements, too:I still use rutin (a low dose brand) and also use Swanson Diosvein (diosmin and Hesperidin) and also with the Now brand Silymarin (milk thistle extract) and ORAC energy greens which all also contain flavinoids. The different flavinoids all seem to work together to promote vascular health (less leg swelling / less excessive bleeding; less anything bad about unhealthy veins / circulation). See if these help leg swelling, too.

Order the correct size if possible.
I like these socks very much, but it is so hard to order the correct size that I gave them 4 stars. I have 5 pairs, but only one pair fits good. When I ordered them I got frustrated because there are so many to pick from and sizes are hard to figure out on the these webpages.. I'm short and I got one pr of medium and 4 prs. of tall. the problem is when you go to put them on. If I had to do it over I would go in a store where you could ask questions and buy them.

Best compression socks you will find.
This is my third time purchasing these socks. I love them. When I purchase I buy 8 pairs. Wear them daily for about two years and then replace. They are extremely comfortable when new, can start pinching the toes after a year of washing. But they are durable and give good compression. I have had both legs stripped of vericose veins, and work as a truck driver, so lots of sitting. The veins have not come back and my circulation has stayed improved.

Length of socks not consistent
Having trying various brands of compression socks, Vitalsox proved to provide the best fit and comfort for my needs. Being completely satisfied with my initial purchase of a pair of medium white socks (VT1211) that I purchased in July, I decided to purchase multiple pairs. So, I ordered a two pack of medium white socks (VT1211) and a two pack of medium black socks (VT1211). When they arrived today, the white socks were exactly like my previous pair, but for some reason the black socks are 3 1/2 inches longer than the white socks, which means that begin to cover my knee cap and are somewhat uncomfortable for me.My workaround is to turn them down, but I would have much preferred them to be the same as my white socks. If they had been the same length as my white socks, I would have provided five star rating.
