Works great for stepping down US 240V to 120V
I'm in the US, so most of my outlets are 120V. That said, I use a few 240V circuits around my house to run certain high-energy appliances off of. My half-meter 3D printers, crypto mining rigs, etc. A lot of my stuff can be switched to run off of either 120V or 240V input voltage, but not everything can. This unit gives me the flexibility of using my 240V circuits to power 120V appliances that cannot be switched to a higher input voltage. For example, I have a portable air conditioner that only accepts 120VAC. The compressor draws too many amps when it first kicks on and it would occasionally trip the breaker (typically when someone is using another appliance in the same room). Most of the 120V outlets in the room its in are on the same circuit, so moving it around wouldn't have helped. I had an unused 240V NEMA 6-20P outlet in the perfect location for the AC, though, so I picked this little transformer up. It accepts a standard C13 plug, which is much better than units that have the cable hard wired in since this makes it easy to plug it into different styles of wall outlets just by using a different cable. It comes with a standard NEMA 5-15P to C13 cable, but my 240V outlets use a NEMA 6-20P outlet. I already had a NEMA 6-20P to C13 cable laying around, so I flipped the input voltage to 230v, plugged it into the wall, hooked the air conditioner up to one of the 110V outputs on the front, turned the transformer on, and everything fired right up. Has been working rock solid with no fuss whatsoever. Very little heat generation, no noise. Just an awesome little unit.

Works great, and Outstanding Technical Support by Yinleader!
I actually purchased a 2000W transformer from Yinleader initially, after moving from Europe back to the States, to support certain appliances. One of which required 1500W power supply, so I thought, without reading enough about the product, that 2000W would cover my needs. After a few months, the transformer began to fail sporadically, and mostly stopped working after about 5 months. I contacted their tech support to see if there were any suggestions (I wasn't hopeful, because I was outside the return and the support windows, both.)Huang in Tech Support, however, answered immediately, explaining that they strongly recommend purchasing a transformer that supplies at least 2x your power requirements, and included the snapshot of their product recommendations. That meant it was my fault that I burned out the first transformer.Instead of leaving it at that, however, which they had the right to do, Huang offered to refund me the first purchase if I was interested in paying the cost difference to the higher 3000W model that I needed. Obviously, that is exactly what I was interested in, and so I took the offer, purchased the new model, got a refund immediately, and am powering all of my appliances again, but correctly this time!Thank you to Yinleader - both making a great product and also standing behind it.

Do not buy!!!!!
Failed inside of 3 months. This item barely functions at best. The plugs are incredibly loose, the circuit breaker on the back was also very loose. I bought this to power a microwave with a European 220v plug. The 220 plug is so loose that it loses connection to the contacts inside. The circuit breaker on the back was practically falling out of the unit as well. After 3 months, it lights up like it's on but none of the 4 outlets on it work. Avoid at all costs.

The plug in plugs are similar for 220 to 110 volts at the front of the converter.
Firstly the voltage input must be in keeping with the voltage selection..at the top on the back of the converter.

Works as expected
Works as expected. I also like that it has two outputs. It saved me from buying a second transformer for my machines.
