Very light weight for it's power and objective size... can be hand held also and used for touring too. A modest padded travel bag is provided, better than the canvas of other companies.Fully multicoated opticals are good for the price...much less ghost images than equally priced Celestrons (possibly also because of the Pentax's better internal baffling)One tradeoff for the 20x power is the small field of view, which is slightly frustrating if you are unfamiliar with the field itself but you will get used to it soon (or you can use any smaller handheld lower power binoculars as a viewfinder)Edge to edge image clarity is there, which wins over the more common 70mm binoculars with poor edge clarity (& hence more deadweight!). Also the adjustable eyecups make it good for elderly people with or without eyeglasses.Fairly good light collection (not great, another tradeoff for larger objectives and/or much costlier ED glass etc) in low light fields because of the good lens coatings.The focus lock is another unique and useful feature.Will try it on astronomy after the monsoon and get back.

This PENTAX SP 10 X 50 WP,I have used Other Russian bino. 12x 50 Which I found superb, but this one is better in clarityTime will tell about it's use as WP at Seashore in Sindhudurg or Forests for watching distant objects and birds before shooting them with Sony RX 10 m4.The bino. Case is ok but you can try leather case at extra cost from local Leather goods makersThe trick to carry it as shown in the photo alongChromatic Abbreviations on viewing objects is considerable.I don't know if this problem persists on expensive models like Vortex, or Zeiss , Leica also?Otherwise it is good for the price it asks.My next is 16 x 50 with Tripod, may be Russian or NIKON, as PENTAX don't hv 16 x50.Overall good but viewing angle could be slightly bigger

The media could not be loaded. Bought Pantex 20x60 on Puja sale at approx 17000 INR.Previously I was using Celestron 10x50. Reasons of buying this one are first my old one was getting worse and secondly I wanted to buy a fogproof binocular with heavy power. After researching for sometime I have found Pantex binoculars. Pantex is a reputed company for its quality optics. For 20x60 size, I don't feel its very heavy. Using tripod is better for any binocular. With crisp quality image I must say lens quality is very good. Though there is a very little bit chromatic aberration occurs with very bright objects, but negotiable. Due to its exit pupil size at first I had problem with adjustment of my eyes with the image. But it was no an issue with the binocular at all. Body design is very good. It feels good with rubber finishing body. Focus knob is smooth and comes with a focus lock which is very good. Binocular eye width adjustment is a little bit hard. Eyepiece rings are excellent. Rotating them can be made adjustment. But there are only 3 position, original, middle and maximum. So don't use force with them. Otherwise they are smooth. The right eyepiece lens comes with a diaptor adjustment ring. So we can adjust right/ left eyepiece ring. This one comes with nitrogen filling and so its waterproof and fogproof but I can not check them unless untill going into some hill area.Now about the package. This one comes with one Neck strap, 2 covers for front lenses and one single big cover for both rare lenses. Neck strap is easy to attach. All of this comes with a binocular pouch. Pouch is good but don't have heavy protection. But still good. Before buying I read many reviews and many makes complaint about falling of the eyecaps. Its true they don't sticks hardly with the lenses. But is not an issue with me.I was expecting a heavy and good packaging with bubble wrap for safe delivery but the packing was simple hard paper packing. At least seller must deliver theses type of items with much safe packaging. Amazon delivery was amazing.

This is a binocular with a purpose.Superb magnification, superb image quality.I can't find any con.Yes it's weight is 1400 gm. But then one can't find any binocular with 20x magnification having lesser weight in this price range.

Value for money, crisp clear super hit for long range

1 20x60 is very difficult combination of optics to get.2 60 mm aperture allows good amount of light3.it is not so heavy.4 good eye relief.5 lenses are colorful due to multiple coating.6 focus lock is available.7 I can use it without a tripod.8 vision is quite clear.What I didn't like is1.neck strap which is not so good considering it's size and capacity2.build quality is not as much as Nikko binoculars3.the optics cover tend to fall out easily.4.the soft case cover is also not that good5.craftmanshipship could have been better with finishing.Overall I give 4 star for this binoculars.Definitely worth buying considering the its resolution
