This was easy to assemble and works perfectly for our unit. There does need to be a screen to place over the hose opening leading to the outside to keep bugs and critters out. We live in an older rental house with old, single pane windows that the screens have disappeared so i had to improvise,but other than that I would buy this again.

Overall this kit works perfect for my portable ac. I have a kenmore brand ac that we purchased when Sears went out of business, so there wasn’t a way for me to order a kit from the original company anymore. I had to order the attachment piece to hook the tube to the ac, so make sure to check if your ac needs that part. The part is available in the same section this kit is sold. I couldn’t figure out the seal tape though LOL so in the picture I just used black duct tape to secure it better. Overall a great buy! Thank you!
