I am required to wear FR while at work. In the summer, I spend a lot of time in the Utah heat. For example, a few days ago the outside temperature ranged between 97 F and 119 F (it gets very hot underneath the loading racks).The heavy denim fr. Jeans I normally wear, that are issued by my company, trap the heat and my legs swim in sweat. It makes it unpleasant to move around at all. Unfortunately, because the winter is here are relatively harsh, most of the FR clothing available is of winter weight. I have been looking for an affordable pair of lightweight pants for some time. I say affordable, because FR clothing is usually pretty expensive.These pants have solved my summer problem. They are light enough that I don't feel like my legs are going to wither away. They have a pleasingly useful array of pockets, and the price is right. If I had one criticism, it would be that the crotch fits funny. It feels like it's too far forward, and a bit too far down. I've not owned pants with this problem before, so I have a hard time describing it. However, I am happy to put up with a bit of a weird fit for the summer months.

These pants are comfortable and well made. It's hard to find a good pair of pants that have the FR rating at this price. I'll definitely but more in the future.

The material is ripping out after less than a year... properly laundered and in rotation with over 12 other pairs of pants.They just fell apart.

These are some of the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. I'm 6'2" 190 lbs and normally wear 33×32 in pants. Material of these pants is soft and the elastic band makes them feel like sweats. I'm an electrician by trade, and I work on oil refineries, substations, commercial buildings, etc. and these pants have been better than wearing bibs/overalls. The two cargo pockets are big and deep enough to store a whole pack of baby wipes. Font and back pockets are deep. And the two front side pockets are deep enough to hide half of 10" lineman's. I love these pants, but would suggest them for winter, unless you have no problem wearing thermals underneath. Ordered a 36×32 and they fit like 34s but can stretch to 36, do to the elastic band. The 32 inseam is definitely long. Seemed more like a 34 inseam. Overall I'm thoroughly and plan on buying many more pairs.
