exceptional beauty
I have been purchasing Lesley Harrison's calendars for several years, and I have never been disappointed by them. Harrison's artwork is truly beautiful, with surprisingly good details. The first time I saw her work, I honestly thought that some were photographs and had to look closely to see the artistic detail that gave it away as a painting. Her medium is pastels, which gives the pictures an ethereal beauty. Harrison's website - [...] - has more information about her artwork. One of the things I've always enjoyed about Harrison's calendars is that she includes a short background for each painting in the space below the picture. About January 2012, for example, she tells where she saw the horse she painted, what her impressions were of the situation, and what happened to the horse later. She has a version of this calendar that includes a short Bible verse in one little block on the calendar and another version that does not.
