My Tymo blow dryer died after 2 years and I was on the hunt. I watched atleast 20 reviews on this product but for the 2.4 barrel and not this one. I did see a video video here and that’s what convinced me! I have 3a hair1. Easy to use! I followed directions and waited for my hair to be atleast 70% dry. And started with medium parts.2. Dry time is FAST. I started with high heat from curly to straight. Then switched to low to get it really straight. High heat is high!!!! Your hair will be too hot to touch, I recommend the hot styling gloves!3. The blow out is amazing once I’m done and I don’t need a flat iron unless I want bone straight hair.4. With high heat I noticed near my face it’s too hot and I switch to low and it’s so much better.5. On my first time use I used too much heat protectant but my hair still came out really nice. My hair DID NOT GET SNAGGED ONCE! Just silky smooth hair! I did do bigger parts the next day for a quick refreshed look and still came out with nice hair and added some curls!

I got this one because I recently cut my hair to a shorter bob style, and my large Revlon blower brush was too large.Just like the larger version, this one works great. It smooths out my frizzy hair even during summer, but also like the larger one, this one gets way too hot on medium. I don't know how hot it gets on high because I have never tried the higher speed/heat. I believe this may be a design flaw that Revlon needs to address.That's why I am only giving it three stars. I always start from 95% dry hair, and I still have to turn it off several times before all of my hair is smoothed out.
