Tried this out the first time last weekend. Smoked two spatchcock xl chickens so used two of the probes. Very accurate temps and connectivity during the cook. I put the block one of the side shelves of my Big Joe. Followed the instructions for pairing and all went as planned/expected. I verified the finish temps with my insta read thermometer and both birds with the neater probs were within 1 degree of the insta read I have always used. Being able to take notes of the cook in the app is awesome. I didn’t think it was that big of a deal but being able to document everything that went good/bad during the cook while fresh in my mind is invaluable. I had no connection issues during the 2 hour cook.

I purchased this awhile ago, and I have used it multiple time for all sorts of different things.You want to know the without disturbing the temperature? This is your device!!!You want to know what the temperature is while your busy doing something else at the house, or while your across town working on something else? This is your device!!!You want to make sure you hit your target temperature so you can let it rest and keep it SO juicy and not dried out? This is your device!!!It takes the guessing work out of it and keeps you confidant in your ability to now multi-task!!!

Works well but can be hard to connect to wifi.Temps are accurateRange with wifi is greatWell builtI think they are a bit over priced but they are the best on the market.

I had one probe that was no longer works but when I worked with tech support he said I had 2 no working properly, they sent me replacements.. I'm not sure why two went bad but I can't grill with it these, love this product..

Gave as a girft to my husband. He is great on a grill, but these were a game changer! It's so much easier to just listen for the alert. More accurate than our former thermometers (we've had a few) and the app really keeps him from having to babysit everything. We have wifi boosters inside near our grilling area, which I'm sure helps. I love this product and I'm not the one grilling!

The item is a big disappointment. Connection drops constantly and customer service from Meater is terrible. Stay away

This unit seems like a lot of money, but had I bought it first and not spent money on all the other units and handheld thermometers before this I think I would be money ahead. From the time you hold the box before you even open it to actually using it you know you are in for a treat. This far exceeded my expectations and I think will be the last one I will every have to buy.
