FINAL DECISION: A worthy conclusion to the complicated romance between Raine, Macon and Liam, this book left me with a happy feeling for the three and a burning desire to hear more about their friends.THE STORY: In this final chapter of the romance between Raine, Macon and Liam, the three are dealing with the revelation of Raine's pregnancy and also with Macon's unresolved feelings after Raine's abduction in book 3. This book which has some humor with the arrival of Liam's parents, mostly deals with a serious threat to the happiness of the three that comes from Macon's past.OPINION: This book is just a guilty pleasure crazy ride. The story goes in directions that really cannot be anticipated from the prior books and I loved it!The trio is really challenged in this book as external forces threaten their happiness. Finally, we learn about Macen's past and it is his past which threatens them. I thought this was the most emotional that we have seen Macen and I truly felt that with his emotional breakthrough in this book, the trio is on the best footing ever.This book has a bit of a suspense/crime mystery involved as Macen is in danger of spending most of his life in jail. The question for the friendly characters is who is out to get him. This threat to Macen and the accompanying loss of control forces Macen to examine his life and make deep emotional changes. I loved his struggle in this book (he's been my favorite in the series). I also loved how he has to lean on Liam and Raine (whereas previously he has been the steady one for them).I loved the new characters that we got to meet. Liam's parents come to visit and their arrival changes the dynamic of this book. There are some surprising twists that some readers might have to adjust their thinking for. I especially loved Liam's dad. There is one scene toward the end that might be the biggest hoot in the series!This book really shows the three developing a true equal relationship. Throughout the four books in this series, these characters and their relationship has changed and grown. The relationship between three people is deeply complex and I have really enjoyed the journey these characters have taken.Of course there is a lot of hot sex, but it is really the emotional connection between these characters that has sustained me through these books.The series is nicely wrapped up and there is a sweet epilogue.WORTH MENTIONING: Oh, we need so many sequels for all the friends of the trio!CONNECTED BOOKS: THE EDGE OF DOMINANCE is the fourth and final book in the Doms of Her Life series. This is a serial about the romance between three characters. The series should be read in order because it assumes knowledge about the prior books and the books build on one another.STAR RATING: I give this book 4.5 stars.

It is quite simply – stunningly awesome!These 3 people have are so blessed to have each other; their unconditional, irrevocable, unbelievable love and passion burns through each page and all you can do is devour each and every word.God love Hammer – he’s such a man – thinking he can handle everything life dishes out by himself, with no help from those who care most about him. But he learns, oh yeah, he learns big-time!Then there’s Liam – the sweet Dom who nurtures the loves of his life, but uses his determination to show both Hammer and Raine their love will overcome anything.And Raine – this strong, sassy, feisty woman who loves with everything inside her and proves to everyone that she is no shrinking violet – she has balls of steel, and isn’t afraid to use them! I want to be her when I grow up!There are twists, turns, surprises, family, passion, love, sex (holy crap the sex) and the ultimate love story. I sincerely could not put this book down! All of the characters in this series are given to us in a richly woven, unmistakably anticipated plot that is magnificent.If you haven’t read the series, do yourself a favor and read them all! You will not be sorry – you will be awed by the talent of these 3 amazing writers. The stories they weave, the characters they create, the emotions they share, will leave you breathless and begging for more.Absolutely, without a doubt, an exceptional love story that will stay with me for a long time to come. This is a series I will read over and over and over again.Congratulations Shayla, Jenna and Isabella – you are Mistresses of the Menage, this book is a true literary experience and I just hope we’ll see more from Shadows and the amazing characters who we’ve all grown to care about.

First let me say this. I HATE that this series is over. I am suffering from a serious book hangover. With that being said it's no secret I love everything Shayla Black touches and this book was no exception. However I was moved on a different level by this last installment. The relationship between Hammer, Raine and Liam was always complicated but watching them grow and blossom has been a true pleasure. With this last book they were faced with what looked liked some insurmountable obstacles to their well deserved happily ever after. I laughed with them. I rejoiced with them and I definitely cried with them. I am terribly sad that we wont have the opportunity to see these characters continue but it was so worth it to watch them find their HEA. I hope somewhere down the line we'll get to peek in on them again. But for me this book was a MASSIVE 5 STARS!

Meet Raine she ran away from home from her evil stepfather..this is where she meets Hammer who owns the local BDSM club obviously she doesn't know that he takes her in looks after her for 6 years doesn't touch her but is desperate to...he still feels guilty about the death of his ex..Liam is Hammers best friend they have been through so much together this is the start relationship he gets with Raine collars her to make Hammer jealous it works the story then really unfolds its brilliant right til the endThe only downside to this book is Liam is from Ireland clears the authors don't know the Irish from the Scottish way of speaking as on many occasions they got it wrong bearne is Scottish not Irish Da is what the Scots call their dad not Irish it drove me mad in placesThe book is hot though fantastic sex scenes lovely tender moments too even Hammer near breaks your heart in placesBrilliant book another re read in my collection

The book is the fourth and final book in the Dom series and again includes both ups and downs between Hammer, Raine and Liam. This book made me laugh, want to scream and cry ugly tears in a fair few places. I loved meeting Liams parents and love Liams mum.I just hope that Beck, Seth and Heavenly now get a book or a series written about them as it frustrated me all the way through right to the end not to then know what happened to them all.

I have read all of this series and I loved it. Every book is long and you certainly get good value. All four make the whole story so you should read them in order. I have already started the next set. my only complaint would be there is too much time between each book, as they follow on and end on cliff hangers I can't wait.

This book is a must read, whilst I was already in love with Raine, Hammer and Liam, the emotional roller coaster I have been through reading this one has left me worn out. The subject matter was intense and I felt the fear with each page I read. Their story is now complete however I hope for the side characters to take centre stage in future releases as I for one will be reading their stories

Keeps you enthralled from start to finish! Full of trials and tribulations! Love and heartache, fear and frustration. Another fantastic installment and I can't wait for the story surrounding Beck, Seth and Heavenly. River's story is going to be a corker to I bet!!!!
