Sailor 11-0558-204 Fountain Pen, Four Seasons Weave, Moon and Night Water, Frost Night, Fine Point

Such an affordable Sailor pen. The deep green is so pretty, easy to hold for my smaller hands, and writes like butter. I accidentally got an EF and would have preferred a F, but that's my mistake. Japanese nibs do seem to be on the smaller side so an EF is quite fine.

Inked pen with included cartridge & wrote first try. Smooth writer! This is my 3rd Sailor pen & I will be using daily.

This is my second Sailor in pen, both from the Shikiori line in extra fine. This Shimoyo pen with its stainless steel nib is actually a smoother writer than my Manyo pen with the 14k nib. I wanted the Shimoyo ink and bought this pen to match it, however the color on the pen does miss the mark. The Shimoyo ink is a much darker blue. That’s OK to me though. It still a very nice pen and the blue has a slight shimmer to it, which imo suits the winter season. I plan to make it my December daily writer!

Reliable writer. This color looks worse in person, though. It's a kind of dull blue that pair poorly with the accents.

To my taste, the pen is very attractive. The nib is also attractive, and dependable. There is typical Sailor feedback, which I find pleasant. It’s a fine nib, so you feel pen to paper, but it’s not scratchy. The ink flow is good, and consistent. To get a Sailor fountain pen at this price is a value.
