Premier Yarns 1-Pack Solid Deborah Norville Everyday Soft Worsted, Cream

Because the add was misleading, I needed 15 skiens, and when I sasw the add it said three for 9.+ I cancelled an order from Herhsners because this was a bit cheaper then I could get the yarn there. I DID NOT SAY LIMIT TO THREE SKEINS. I had no use for just three skeins. I felt that I was being misled and I couldn't get it across to the rep. on the phone ehy I wanted 15 skeins. Then finally they sent me four more skeins and then told me to make the afghan out of those. Well clearly they had no idea bout what it takes to make an afghan. And the worse thing about it was I needed this yarn for my sisters 50 wedding anniversary. I kept insisting I wanted 15 skeins.... well they finally sent me the yarn saying I could NOT ever return any of it. Which was not a problem because And they sent me 8 more PACKAGES which was a totsl of 24 more skeinswhich was on top of the 1 package of three and the 4 loose skiens they sent me when they told me to make the afghan out of those. I Never have had so much trouble from Amazon in my life. and that made me over a week late in getting my sisters 50th anniversary present to her. It was all because the add for the yarn was misleading in the first place..and then the kids I was dealing with didn't understand anything about yarn. It wasn't their fault, I know it was a furstrating to them as it was for me. I wont EVER buy yarn through Amazon again. I should have stayed with a tried and proven dealer when it comes to my yarn needs. Oh by the way, I know in the end I come out ahead above my expections. I didn't want anything more then the orginial 15 skeins of yarn it took to make my project. But rest assured I will make good use of the extra yarn I was told I COULD"NT return Yours, Marilyn Gouvan

I started an afghan 2 years ago and apparently erred in determining how many skeins I needed. Thank you Amazon as I couldn’t find this color anywhere else. Just an FYI, Premier seems to be Deborah Norville yarn now. I have made many afghans over the years using many brands of acrylic yarns. This one is the best! It doesn’t split and it seems to produce a much softer texture in the knitting. Not sure if it will stay so soft after washing, but it doesn’t seem to pill as much as other yarns. I recommend this yarn!

Really nice for amigurumi. I'm not sure yet but looks lile I can make the body for 3 of these little impkins (crafty intentions pattern) from one skein.

It's a thinner yarn, a smaller skein.......what a disappointment. I'm in the middle of a project and I bought this thinking it would be the same, and it's very much NOT. What a waste of money if you're looking for the same high quality yarn that had Deborah Norville's name.***Updated 2/26/20: ALL the skeins I've tried to find of this brand have less yarn than when Deborah Norville was involved. I gave it another two stars because while less, and thinner, it's surprisingly still a quality yarn. The price is reasonable considering the size of the skein, and the seller is so much better than what I've been finding on Ebay {honesty, shipping and handling speed}. I'll come here for yarn instead of Ebay from now on.

I wanted to leave a review on the yarn itself just as a note - I was lucky enough to get all 3 in the packs I ordered and I am really in love with the softness of this yarn. I have made a couple of items with it so far and run them through the wash to ensure the non pilling, etc holds up before I make a large afghan and so far it has done really well. After 4 washes, it is still soft, no sign of fuzz or pills either. The colors are exactly as expected and of the worsted weight yarns I think that the softness of this makes it a decent value as well. A lot of other bargain brands are rougher even around the same price point.
