Great looking pattern weights. Lovely and smooth. A bit lighter than I was expecting though. I would prefer them to be heavier. If you are mostly working with lightweight fabrics these would be perfect, but if you are working with heavier fabrics these may not be suitable for you.

I've used vintage pattern weights for years wishing they still made them because I would purchase more in a heartbeat.Well I'm glad they don't because these are BETTER!I've used the canvas rounds with lead in them that are currently sold in fabric stores (and they're okay)... but nothing special.THESE... THESE ARE AMAZING! Seriously, they're bigger meaning you need less of them & they're just fantastic.Seriously, I hope these end up in fabric stores to replace the currently sold canvas ones- they're that good!In the past I've had 6 pattern weights that I would use, so I ordered 2 sets of these, however, because they're larger I have found I don't necessarily need the second set.Don't question getting these. You'll love them!If they slide around too easily for you because they're glass I would suggest adding felt to the bottom.For my purposes they're heavy enough that they stay put with no issues.These weigh 5.6oz per weight

First off, I think these might be the most beautiful things I've ever used for sewing. That being said, they could be a little heavier. They work really well for holding down paper but not so much for fabric. Though they are still pretty handy and I'll probably be buying more. Warning: youay think I'm crazy about the weight when you hold them in your hands and they feel quite sturdy, but after your fabric starts to slide you'll realize what I mean. Have no fear though😆 If you order enough of them I'm sure they'll hold up. Plus it's really nice to be able to see markings through them ( and they have a cool magnifying aspect) so they aren't really in the way...much

I bought two sets of these (4 per box). These came with some sort of oily residue on them which I easily washed off. I often need to lay out and trace big pattern pieces and these glass pattern weights slide smoothly across the surface of my patterns. Also, they look really beautiful as I’m using them. A friend of mine at work had them and I was excited to purchase my own. People keep borrowing mine and asking where I got them. They are great value for the money.

They were heavier than I expected them to be... Didn't move while using on knit fabric; they held it down well (pattern + fabric), without slippage (cutting with a rotary cutter). I got two boxes 4/ea. box. Each glass weight was individually wrapped with little bubble-wrap pockets; handy small box. I like having more than four; for me, they'll get plenty of use. I really like them and highly recommend them.
