I don't use steak knives everyday...so I was very surprised how after only a handful of washes... They rusted!All my silverware I been using for years is stainless steel and I never had a single issue. I used these 3-5 times and they had to be returned. I'm just glad it happened while still during my return period (which says a lot about the product).Avoid at all costs

Upon first seeing the pictures I worried that on a tough cut of meat my hand would slide forward past the short guard and I would cut myself. I still worry about that (I think the guard should stick out more). But the knives are so sharp I think they will cut the toughest meat with near-frictionless ease. The handle feels fantastic in my hand (and I have large man-hands). It is hollow but also seamless. The blades are not shiny, but they are okay. I've been warned by friends not to wash stainless steel knives like these in a dishwasher. The black box that contained the knives was suitable for gifting (noticeably dented on one corner--Amazon robots are not gentle I guess). I would have loved the option to order the knives in a wooden standing block instead of a flat space-consuming gift box.

Looking to replace my 10 year old steak knife set. These are very pretty knives but just not practical as a daily knife. They are far too thick and a very aerated edge. I was just trying to cut strawberry’s and it shreds it right down the middle. It’s decent for steak, but again, really shreds the meat rather than cutting finely through it. These are almost like serrated bread knives they are so thick. Very pretty set, but did not serve my purpose as a good daily knife.

These knives are worth much more than the price. I had three Henckels stainless steel steak knives and needed to get more. When I saw these in Amazon for quite a bit less money, with all of the excellent reviews, I decided to try them. I am very happy that I did. They feel great in your hand. The weight and design of the handle are excellent. And they cut with almost no effort. The blade has a very nice serration that cuts beautifully. I now prefer them to the Henckels. Great knives. Great price.

If they are a gift, the steak knives come in a beautiful box but the knives themselves are impressive. They are one piece, the perfect weight and the blade is extremely sharp. The reason I bought them was because my last set was ruined by the dishwasher (water got in between the blade and the handle - can’t happen with these). I know you're supposed to wash steak knives by hand but I don’t leave them sitting for hours without at least opening the door. So far they have been through the dishwasher a few times and have come out perfect. The high carbon steel is nice because it resists scratches. I think they will last for many years.

These knives are very sharp, the cut steak and veggies with minimal effort. They feel good in your hand and balance well. The stans is clear acrylic and there is a spot for very thing, even the shears. This is a nice looking a d very functional set that won't take up much counter space.

What a surprise at the quality & beauty of these knives. Their affordable pricing was an added bonus and the reason I was so delighted with these knives. This style and elegance would belong to a high priced product. I love them so much I bought two more sets for my Granddaughter's wedding gift and will buy two more for my other Granddaughter's wedding gift in a couple months. There are six in a display style box so I buy two so there's a service of twelve instead of six. That would be my only suggestion is to have a quantity of eight available.

These came in a nice box with a cover over the tips and it’s a good thing bc they are so sharp I definitely would have hurt myself. They feel nice in the hand and are easy to clean. Looking forward to using for years to come

When the handle of a kitchen knife I was using came off in my hand, the second in the set to do so, I decided to replace the whole set. The originals were British made, from a well-known company, and barely a year old, which I thought was poor, so I elected not limit myself to British made knives, and was prepared to pay a little more.I also made a decision to purchase knifes that were cast as a whole piece, not with a “separate” handle thus ensuring the handle could hardly come off!This set exceeded my expectations, being exactly what I was looking for and good looking to boot. A good, if standard, range of knifes, but a selection to suit most kitchen requirements. The stand works well and looks good and the inclusion of a knife sharpener is a big bonus.Stainless steel of course, so no chance of rusting and cast as one complete piece so no chance at all of the handle coming off!The only let-down are the scissors, they are poorly made and let the set down, but I honestly feel not enough to stop the otherwise well-deserved five stars.Recommended.

Really nice looking, very very sharp, and have a lovely weighted feel to them.The steak knifes are brilliant too.Definitely recommended.
