Worked perfectly for my chair and washing machine!
I bought these for two purposes:1. To stop my recliner from sliding backwards when I sit in it (it's on a tile floor).2. To stop my washing machine from walking around the house on the spin cycle. The anti-slip works perfectly, though it's hard to keep these in place under the recliner. There is another version of this product with an adhesive back, and I think it would work much better for the recliner application. These things worked wonders for my washing machine! It used to be as loud as an airplane and would walk all over the laundry room (several feet in every direction) on the spin cycle. This was mostly because the "feet" that came with the machine, which had rubber bottoms, wore out... and the rubber disintegrated and fell off. One pad under each foot got it back to factory condition. They dampen the noise and TOTALLY stop the "walking".Two things to mention:1. Both the chair and the washer are very heavy at times, and these things are completely flattened now. They still work, but I'm curious as to how long they will last.2. The description says that they are pre-scored at various sizes... which is true, but only on one side. You still have to cut the other side, and it's a bit tricky to make clean cuts through this sort of material using scissor s or a utility knife. Helps if you have a clamp and a straight edge to guide your cutting tool.

Works perfectly on large reclining sofas
I purchased these to keep our two large reclining sofas from sliding on our porcelain tile floor and they work perfectly. I used one under each corner. The feet under the sofa are metal covered with some type of hard plastic material. There are actually 8 of them: one near each corner and two near the middle front and two near the middle back. Before using these gripper pads I was able to move the sofa easily, even though it was about 95 inches wide and heavy. And when we sat down on it and reclined either side, there was no way to keep it from moving when we got up.I thought I would have to put these gripper pads underneath all 8 of the feet, but after putting it under the 4 corners I could no longer budge the sofas, even pushing hard on them. In fact, when we wanted to reposition one, we had to take the pads out. We used the small squares and one of use lifted each corner while the other slipped the pad under the footing. Simple, nothing to glue. The weight of the sofas hold them in place. They're large enough that we still have pieces left over.I truly didn't expect these to work as well as they do. Two thumbs up! They're perfect.

Stunningly Effective
We have a mid century couch with legs that taper to just 1 inch square. You could breathe while sitting and the couch moved on the hardwood floor. I had no expectations that Slip to Grip Furniture gripper would be effective under such small legs, but bought them with the thinking they would help some.I was wrong. These things are amazing and the sofa WILL NOT MOVE! They do exactly what they are advertised to do and do it better than expected.I used a black magic marker to ink in the grey center portion of the gripper so they are essentially invisible under the sofa leg. Please note that these come without adhesive already applied and there is a pack of double sided sticky stuff to use for placing the grippers. Consider how often you plan to move furniture before applying the adhesive. We used it to help place the pads on each leg, but in hindsight should probably not have used it, as the couch feels bolted to the floor. If you want to rearrange furniture, you will need to lift up the couch. My suggestion would be to use a bit of rolled up blue painters tape to help position the pads which would make them easy to remove if you want to slide the furniture for rearranging. This is not a negative of the product but a suggestion for how to use them.

Good furniture grippers
I bought these to use to keep my couch from sliding. Works good. Came packaged well and undamaged. Both sides are made of a rubber material so no sliding will occur on either end. You may use the entire square or break it along the cut side to make smaller shapes. It came with adhesives but a note was included not to use them as they cause damage to flooring (then why include them??). Therefore, I did not use them. They stay in place really well and have not slid on the hard wood floor. When pushed with force, it slides a little on the carpet but otherwise stays in place. Would highly recommend.

No more skating across my living room on the couch
To be frank I was a little skeptical about these given the cost and the fact that they suggest not using any adhesive. Happily, these pads work great and were exactly what I needed. My problem was related to the fact that we purchased a new couch and chair and they slid all over the place when I sat down on them. This was a result of the fact that the couch and chair's feet rest on our hardwood floor. While the "no marring" buttons attached to the feet of the couch and chair protected the floor, they acted like roller skates every time I sat down on the furniture,As you can see in the picture each large pad is pre-scored with multiple sizes of smaller pads (for tables, bar stools, etc).To use these pads you just take a pair of scissors, figure out what size of pad you need, then cut along the scored lines. After making the cuts you simply lift up each corner of your furniture, slide the cut-out pad under the lifted leg, lower the furniture onto the pad, and "rinse and repeat" for each corner. The weight of the furniture is more than enough to keep the pads in place.I've been using these for a couple of weeks now and the slipping / sliding of the furniture is a thing of the past. For cost and simplicity of use these pads get 5 stars from me.
