This recorder was very easy to use and apply to a gift (framed picture in this case). Also included stickers to help point to the "on" button. Really great that it allows 60 seconds of sound recording. Picture frames that allow sound recordings to be added, if you can even find them anymore, generally allow maybe 20 seconds. This little sound recorder is a great way to add sound to a gift. I recommend it.

I love this product, I love the idea and application. The mic could use a little spiffing up. The recording length is very nice for messages that are more than a few words. 60 seconds can feel like a long time. You'll have to have an ink pen to record, it'll beep twice and then about a second after that you're good to go without cutting off the beginning of your message. So far so good with battery life, I use this to goof around with my coworkers, so the button has been pressed many many times.

I found it easy to record onto, the audio quality is what I would expect from something like this. It is plenty loud enough, I did turn up the volume on the laptop I was playing the audio from so maybe that has some bearing on how loud it plays back. The reason I bought this device is because of the light sensor feature, I wanted to play when the box was opened. Unfortunately it takes a lot of light to get it to play with any consistency. I had to shine a flashlight directly on it to get to play, otherwise is was very spotty. That kind of ruined what I had planned for my project but it is what it is. The play button works reliably but if I wanted that there were other lower cost options I would have went with.

I wish I had known about these years ago before my granny passed. Purchased this for a friend whose wife has dementia. Helped her leave him a message and he told me that he listens to it every morning and every night before going to bed. It’s great memory to have of your special someone.

At first I didn’t realize I had to hold the play button down to record after pushing in the little hole with a pen but then it was easy to record. The sound is pretty good. After recording a friend’s grandson playing the piano I attached it to the back of a picture frame as a gift. My friend loved it!
