(No rips at all).🙂 It is very comfortable and easy to move in as the material stretches. To make it more appropriate for school, I wore a white shirt and black leggings which worked well. I needed a quick costume for a work event. Great price point for the convenience. I did not like the material as it was not very forgiving around my stomach area. Definitely costume material that is stretchy in the worst way. True to size but I would have sized up just for comfort.

The XXL (18 - 20 size) is super snug on me and I normally wear 16-18. It's really a nice dress though.

I ordered an XL, and currently wear a 10. When I get back down to size 8 it should still fit well. The black part of the top is stretchy velvet. Everything seemed to be well-made. The choker has a chain in the back, so it should be adjustable for most sizes. If it’s too small, you can purchase chain extenders at hobby stores that sell jewelry-making supplies.

I wore this for my daughter's princess birthday party. I had it on for about 3.5 hours. By the time I took it off, there were holes and tears and shedding strings. These all came from just normal wear. I ate and served dinner and cake and watched present opening- nothing crazy at all. It also was missing the necklace when it arrived but I had no time to return and get another.I'd say if you're looking for something to wear one time, this is fine. But it's essentially trash now which does not warrant the almost $40 price tag.
