This is perfect for our back patio and pool deck area. We don’t need a trash can out there 24/7, but we like to have one ready when the weather is nice and we’re spending a lot of time out there or if we’re having a party. This is perfect because it holds the biggest trash bags with ease, is inconspicuous, and then folds up into a small flat square when we don’t need it. I got the idea for this from my dad who uses this on his RV for tailgating. Works great for both uses!

The Bag Buddy works better than I had imagined. It is easy to fit a paper bag under the metal flanges. It holds the bag wide open so it is easy to dump yard waste into it. Before, I hated using bags because it was so much trouble to get them open and hold them in position. Now it is actually easier to bag the waste than to carry it to the back of the lot.

i purchased 4 different bag holders because I wanted to see for myself which ones lived up to their reviews both positive and negative. This holder was so solid and held the bag so strongly that I’m not only writing a review for it but I placed an order for a second one. My initial use for this bag was to hold a large clear bag that I can dump shredded paper clippings into.. bills and junk mail pile up quickly in my home and so does my shredders bin, so rather then try to empty it on a flat bag and wind up with half the clippings on the floor I set out to find something that could sturdilly hold the bag so I wouldn’t have to. Sone of the various brands come with clips, which whenever the bag gets heavy just ends up tearing the plastic and leaving holes. This model instead uses a natural “spring” that holds open a bag the way your two arms would if you were holding it open for someone to put stuff into. This brand was so solid and strong that I used it to collect leaves with as well and it was flawless.. other brands were too flimsy and tipped over frequently. I couldn’t be more impressed with this model. Clearly whoever designed it weeded out all the negatives that other brands still have yet to fix.

After using for just over a month and not that often, a weld broke in a place where no pressure is even applied. Company refuses to replace or refund because it's after 30 days. Treat this item with kid gloves as it may break.

Like the fact its adjustable and can collapse for easy storage. What I like least is the fact in time with use I am afraid the slides for adjusting will get worn, but I could be wrong.

I am 70 yrs old, and this is a very convenient way to hold leaf bags open. I am happy to have found it. It is very easy to put together, and easy to store.

I’m returning this item because I received a used item. I paid for a brand new item and not a used, dirty, sticky, smelly item. Smell like trash when I opened the box and the box was already broken when I received it.

I bought this thing a few years ago and have put it to the test! I have used is to hold bags for leaves, regular household trash, and construction debris from 2 home renovations! The only downside I see is the cost. It is super useful and sturdy, but I think it could be sold for less. Other than cost it has lived up to my expectations!
