Great umbrella
Small enough when closed to keep in my backpack 🎒 , but big enough to keep my shoulders dry when open!

Good coverage and sturdy umbrella
Umbrella was bought for use during longer walks as protection from UV rays providing coverage for most of body. Canopy size does that. Depending on my position in reference to the sun, I angle the canopy to provide maximum shade to my body. Most of th time, most of my body gets shielded. For full coverage, an even larger canopy size would be needed, but for practical purposee, this size is satisfactory. The handle stem/shaft of the umbrella is adequate at 23" allowing the underside of the canopy to be distant from the top of my head, describing a 6 ft high individual. The handle, while not ergonomic, is made of a soft material making it comfortable to grip and maneuver for long periods of contact.. From the closed position, pressing a button/latch easily propels the canopy upward and spread out. Closing is a simple step of pressing the latch and pulling the runner down. There is a little side play when the runner moves toward the small latch on the stem, so you just have to make sure it is pulled down stasight and guided over the latch. You just release the runner and the canopy body is secured. Due to the double layer of material which supposedly exists to allow for wind flow to keep the umbrella from turning inside out, wrapping the two straps around the canopy, from the bottom strap and the top strap is unnecessarily difficult. The only way to easily do this is to secure the strap around the very bottom and the very top of the canopy so as to minimize the material the straps wrap around. Unlike a more normal umbrella which has only a single layer of material, the double layer makes the same technique impossible. The umbrella came packaged as new with the straps secured higher around more material closer to the center of the umbrella's body (or perhaps the material was folded in a more perfect overlapping manner) but the canopy was folded in such a way that the normal user cannot duplicate intuitively nor with simple ease. And, there is no video or instruction on the technique for closure with the straps. The umbrella is just under 1 1/2 oz. Not light, but not overly heavy considering the size of the umbrella and its construction. Giving the umbrella its most weight is the spring mechanism just under the canopy. Looks and feels very well built and very sturdy. The spokes coming out to support the canopy are lightweight and flexible. In a heavy gust of wind, they allow the canopy to bend, resulting in the need to hold the stem with one hand close to the spring by the runner and the other at the bottom to keep the umbrella secured. I was surprised at how reactive the canopy material was with even lower gusts of wind. I suppose due to the vertical distance of the bottom of the stem to the open air space below the canopy, gusts of wind can be expected to pull up on the canopy material. I would have given the umbrella a higher rating if it had not been so reactive to even lighter wind currents, much easier to close and secure with the straps, and not insignificantly, ANY response from the seller to registering the product and contacting the seller from the listed support email address. After several attempts were made and weeks allowed for a response, in case the seller was on vacation, I have yet to receive any response, as though registering the product is meaningless and the support email address is not meant for contact. Given the quality of the product, I do not know why the seller would allow the registration and support issues to be dysfunctional. Edited update: seller responded to this review with an apparent robo generated response expressing their interest in the three star rating snd disappointment. A competent customer service would have responded weeks ago, not ignorng registration and multiple attempts to reach them. If the poriduct was shabby, I would have given a 1 or zero rating. It's good, so the absence of customer service is being overlooked in the rating.Update 6/30/19 : The canopy was turned inside out due to a 35 mph wind gust. The wind gust didn't feel excessive, so the occurrence of the canopy reversal surprised me since it had never happened before. I had felt a pull on the canopy surface during prior wind gusts and imagined that should the canopy be facing a direction with the wind, that the canopy's strength and the company's claim of the design to withstand reversal woukd be tested. The design has proven to be not able to withstand stronger wind gusts. Due to the strong inner structure, undoing the reversal took serious effort. I was concerned that my force of pulling the canopy back to normal might break the supports. It didn't.And last, the company has yet to respond to my emais and my registration of the product. At least the umbrella is excellent for coverage and covering from the sun, and so far, protects from the rain. Evidently, the umbrella was never tested accurately for design claims against canopy reversal and the company doesn't care about customer service contact.Update (9/22/19) - With more use, I have experienced canopy reversals in mild wind (where the covering turns inside out). Because the umbrella is so sturdy, I was afraid of breaking the rim structure by pushing down on the canopy to undo the reversal. The canopy did return to its normal shape but alot of force was required to do this. I was surprised that the rim spokes and support didn't break. One method was by pressing down by hand with alot of force. Once the canopy is turned insideout, it resists returning to its normal shspe. The other spproach is to press the canopy straight diwn onti the ground and allow the resistance to do the job. That approach worked more easily.I used my smaller non 8vciated bpue color umbrella whike in the sun and noticed that more heat comes through s7ch an umbrella vs. the UV coated umbrella.

Almost perfect
I bought this June 2022, it's now December 2022. It's been great so far. Yesterday was a very rainy and windy day. Most of the time it takes well with the wind, but during a huge gust of wind the umbrella did flip out. It surprised me because we have the smaller version of this umbrella and not once has it done that. It was easy to flip it back, just faced it towards the wind and it went back to normal. It did hold up, it didn't break or bend, just a tad disappointed that it actually did flip out, especially since it was pouring rain lol! Other than that it's still a good umbrella in my eyes. But maybe I'll stick to the smaller one for now.

Other than misdelivery and package being opened I am happy with my purchase.i like the size of
I like the size and sturdiness of my umbrella. I don't care for the 2 strap closure. It's exactly what I wanted. Thanks

Nice umbrella but the wind…
This is a large umbrella. I was impressed by its size despite knowing the dimension. The navy blue is a nice color. This is extremely easy to open. With one push of a button it fully is ready for you to tackle the rain. It does fully protect me from the rain due to the design. It wraps down around me so to speak. My only issue is it did fly open in a rain & wind storm I was in. It’s not fully wind-proof. I feel it’s sturdy enough to be in certain wind speeds but if it’s excessively windy out this will fly upward. It took some effort to bring it back down to shape & I was afraid it was broken but it wasn’t. That’s my only heads up. It has 2 nice velcro straps to keep it secure when not using it. It comes with a storage bag but once I took it out upon receiving it & using it, it was too bulky to get back into the storage bag. It has a hanging string so I hang it on a nail in our garage. I feel it was well worth what I paid despite the strong wind issue. It’s a quality umbrella that keeps me dry. I do recommend.

First time in the wind and it’s wrecked
First time in the wind and three of the break resistant elements broke. Any idea how to access the “LIFETIME REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE?’ Amazon won’t cover it. Avoid.UPDATE: 1 email to customer services and two days later I get a replacement!! I take it all back. Excellent customer service. Thank you!!

Too heavy for a folding umbrella
Normally : a)a golf umbrella doesn't fold, so when it's not raining it would be used a bit like a walking stick.b) with non-golf umbrellas they fold down into small units that are quite light and can fit in a backpack. The problem with this EEZ-Y umbrella is that when it's folded it's quite long and heavy. And there's no option to use it like a walking stick.

i feel like i'm walking around with a mini baseball bat
I could break someone with this thing! Seriously though, i feel like i'm walking around with a mini baseball bat. It's solid, looks awesome, and unfolds to be a massive umbrella, exactly what i wanted. Wish i had it during the all day long rain the other day, barely a cloud in the sky since buying it so extra props to EEZ-Y for stopping the rain with the purchase of an umbrella!! i do wish the bag had a shoulder strap though, might have to mod that.

Great umbrella and folds down nicely
Great umbrella and folds down nicely considering the size of the coverage. The only thing that is a little disappointing for me is the handle is a bit shorter than I'd prefer. I have a larger hand so I like a handle that fills my grip. Having said that it seems a minor quibble.
