These glasses are for any hand work you are doing which needs light and enlarged picture Of what you are doing .About 12”to 15”distances to be precise. From reading to mending or operating a machine all sorts of fine jewelry making embroideries knitting crochet sewing small crafts any minute work like small surgeries the list is endless . You can always adjust the frequency of lens according to your need.Plus the position of your light and high or dim beam with just a click of your hand. You can’t go wrong with it and can’t get a better deal . I thank God a million times for tumbling on to it. I had such a good experience that I have recommended it to so many people. I think Amazon should start paying me for these promotions. Lol 😂

Although I am not certain, but o rather doubt it. They are not, in my opinion, as advertised and lack durability.

Q: Dose it great for watch repair and computer?

These glasses are great for tiny projects with the multiple lenses and dual lights it really brings in the smallest parts to focus. Love that you can wear them as glasses or a headband. My husband likes to use them for watch repair and computer repair too.

Q: Can I use these for reading?

Not recommended. These magnifiers do not permit both eyes to see a page at viewing distance. Especially at higher magnification. Better choice is low cost reading glasses. Otherwise you could read using only one eye and hold the page close, while scanning the print. It's awkward and tiring to do. The lowest power 2,5; may help but regular reading glasses much better.
