This little AC vacuum pump worked awesome. Very quiet compared to my old one. Vacuumed all the way down to 30 without any issues. I would recommend this product to any seasoned AC person as a great budget vacuum pump.

Performed perfectly. I purchased this for installing 2 split Ac units to put in my home to replace a central a/c unit that was failing. I needed this to vacuum the lines out as the lines on my units that were not pre-charged. It worked for me the first time on both units so not having to pay a technician to install the units saved me a ton of money. I believed I let it run about 25 or 30 minutes but that may have not been necessary. I just hooked it up and walked away for a while. It pays for itself after 1 use. I do about 90 percent of my projects without acontractor so I have to occasioally purchase specialty tools and this worked great.

Works well, not too loud and after initial pressurization very little oil mist comes out. Does run hot but I believe this is to be expected.

First use was to pull a vacuum on my cars a/c system after repairs so I could recharge it. The pump pulled to 30inHg in less than a minute and then ran straight and held it there for 30 minutes. No issues at all. Pump is very quiet and seems well built. I will be using this when I install 5 mini split a/c systems in my home this summer, but the pump already paid for itself when used on my car. This is a great pump at a great price and perfect for the DIY'er like me.

You might not want to buy this but the price is low and it does actually work great. I still use this. Why the 1 star. The oil that it comes with when I put it back into it's original bottle for storage exploded. The bottle pressurized and spilled all over. The oil isn't easily findable anywhere either and the manufacturers don't sell it separate. It requires a heavier oil called ISO 100 or SAE 30 or Equivalent. I finally found ISO 100 oil at Grainger meant for vacuum pumps. I put the lighter iso 68 oil and it smoked out the exhaust. It took 30 minutes to burn it off after putting ISO 100 oil inside. The seller should sell their oil but they don't.
