they look great, but for extra hold I added more 3M double back tape

The original tape doesn't hold as securly as had hoped for, even aftwr a good alcohol cleaning. Going to use a wider tape and reapply.

Fits well but double stick tape does not hold well. I had to remove the double stick tape and use silicon adhesive.

Look for a more rugged alternative
These things look good on the product site, but the reality is that they are kind've cheap in construction. The tape to fix them onto the door sill isn't that strong. There is no adhesive on the 'lip' that comes up over the inside top of the sill - the most likely place where you might catch your feet getting out of your Jeep. I dont think they will stand up too well to the kind of rough handling my Wrangler gets. If you are looking for an inexpensive way to cover up some scratches and dents (e.g. before you sell your vehiicle) then these would be ideal. Otherwise, invest a few more $ and get something more rugged.
