It s something he originated and what he does best: relatable, back-roads and familiar while also being a striking form of country music worth getting excited about. While assuring his fans that the Chris they love hasn t changed, Cagle sees his new persona as a better version of himself. "I want my music to be an environment, to strike chords, passions, memories, faults, loves, angers and redemptions," Chris says. "Imagine my music just on the outside of town right where the road turns to the rural route. A dirt road cul-de-sac with trucks all parked in a circle. I would love to see my music fit into that."

Strong effort
A strong effort from Chris Cagle, I highly recommend! This CD represents Chris Cagle at his best. I hope he officially gets back in the saddle and starts producing more music and touring.

Another Great Album from Chris Cagle
I absolutely adore Chris Cagle and this album does not disappoint. My favorite songs so far are Got My Country On and Dance Baby Dance. He sounds just as good on this album as he does on all his others. If you like his other music I believe you will like this album as well.

i was only familiar with two songs on this album and was surprised at how much I enjoyed the entire body of work. A number of the songs will make it to my playlists.

I love, love this CD some of the best music from Chris Cagle, solid, down to earth songs and his vocals and delivery on each song has a different spirit to it. Add this to your country collectionCan't wait to see him soon live!!!!!

Heard "Let there be Cow Girls" on the radio and had to get this album. Great Album!!
It has been awhile since I heard anything from Cagle, but when I heard his new song on the radio "Let there be Cow Girls" I had to buy a couple of his albums. What a great artist. Glad to see he put out a new CD.

"Back In The Saddle" is a much anticipated album, by me. I've liked his music from back in his bar bouncing days - and, this album is a long awaited "Chris Cagle-isk" selection!

Love it!
I bought this cd for my husband and he loves it! The only problem is, I wish I would have kept it for myself! Chris Cagel's Back in the Saddle cd is awesome! I would recommend this cd to anyone who enjoys country music.

I purchased this album without thinking twice, have been waiting for Chris to make new albums, and it has been a few years since we have heard a new song from him, but I have to say, not one of his best .A landslide from his "Play loud", or the self title one released in 2003, and Anywhere but here album.It lacks something, but cannot say for sure.
