So much more than I expected. The material is delightfully soft, non-itchy and warm, without leading to the dreaded sweat-head. The band is substantial but not constricting. I have a big hat size and a lot of thick, curly hair (translation: unruly nightmare) and it fits perfectly. It's ideal for working at home in this big, drafty, chilly house and chic enough to wear at the office, which is, you know, freezing. Because that's what U.S. workplaces are: freezing. Sigh. Anyway, I'm going right now to order more colors.

I love this beret. The shade of red is exactly what I wanted. High quality material and construction. Large enough to style in different ways. The flower and beaded accents give it a dressy look.
