Brenda Lee's music has always been very well delivered, from her first recording on.All these tracks but one where released by the end of 1962.If you don't have the following CD's then this is a great place to get these songs, and currently, at a good price.But if you're a Brenda Lee fan, you may already have most of these tracks on other collections.All but 13 are also found on either the wonderful 5 CD's of twofers by Ace of Brenda's first 10 albums,and "Brenda Lee Queen of Rock N' Roll' (marked by R&R)Of those thirteen, ten can be found on 'Brenda Lee the complete US & UK singles A's & B's' (marked by 'S' for singles).But some recordings on that CD sound a bit muffled so may want to listen to Amazon's soundbites to decide whether to buy it.Only three songs aren't on the above mentioned collections - 'Your Cheatin' Heart' - 'Some People' & 'The Golden Key'Last comparison - with the box set from Real Gone Music of Brenda's first 7 albums.(which costs much less than the purchase of 5 twofers)All regular album tracks (not counting 'R&R' or 'S') except two are from Brenda's first 7 albums.All Alone Am I (only song from 8th album) - Break It to Me Gently (only song on 9th album) None from 10th album.Track Listing - if there's no notation at end of title - the song is found on one of Brenda's first 9 regular albums1. Remember Lets Jump the Broomstick by Brenda Lee being constantly played on jukebox at my local youth club. This compilation of 101 songs by this fabulous lady is a must for fans. As I am typing this message have got it playing.A good mix of songs even xmas ones. Fab buy and enjoyable to listen too
