The holder doesn't isolate the heat from the pan with enough efficiency. Even if adjusting it only for a few seconds (when you want to move the pan) it gets hot very quickly making it difficult to use it properly.If it's kept on the pan's handle for the whole time while cooking it gets to the same temperature as the pan, so you need another kind of protection anyway.

Nice color and does the job as expected.

Very expensive for what it is. It unfortunately doesn't fit the Lodge crepe pan well enough and it does get hot which makes it harder to hold. It's better than not having a handle but not the best.

pricey for what it is and not totally heat proof once pan has been on the hob for a while but it does the job - I am not blown away by it

Don’t buy it as it melted the first day and it’s of no use your hands will still burn .I ordered specifically lodge one thinking it’s meant for lodge products and so I dint care abt pricing also.But it’s absolutely of not use and it’s utter waste of money. In 15-20 mins u won’t be able to use it as it gets so badly heated and generally even if u use to hold ot whenever required it still carry that temp making hands burn. I returned it.

After using it for some days, I found It's too too too big and long for my skillet. I cut it more than 2 cm and it is still long and loose: every time when I hold the handle with the holder, I can feel the handle slip and that let me worried that the skillet will throw away from the holder. Now I don't use the holder any more. I think hold the hot handle with a towel is more safty than with this holder.
