Beach Street Bakery Christmas
I fell in love with the Beach Street Bakery the moment I opened the first book so to go back for more is fantastic. We fall back in to Polly life at Christmas, best time of the year. Polly wants a quiet Christmas but of course nothing ever works out as planned.Kerensa has a secret which could be a huge scandal and Reuben want Polly to cater for him all leading to a busy time for Polly and a strained relationship between Polly and Huckle.A book to be read under a blanket with a hot drink and a baked good beside you. When Jenny writes about how cold the lighthouse is I always felt cold and wanted to curl up. You can almost smell the scents coming from the bakery and wish you could visit for a tasty treat or two.I loved the book and couldn't put it down, literally read the book in one sitting just after Christmas whilst in an airport on a long wait for a flight. It was so good I gave it to a passenger on the plane and told her to read it and went and bought another copy when I got home!I am so sad that this is the last Beach Street Bakery book in the series as I loved them and loved Polly and puffin Neil. If you have not read the series give it a try you will not be disappointed.

OK
Colgan's books in these series' she keeps producing are getting far too repetitive. Saying that, I still find the characters likeable and want to read them. This was a bit too far fetched though and sadly, rather naff!
