Super easy to install, high strength, suits my needs perfectly and looks great in the process!

Did not fit without modifications
Even though the description stated that this Bed Extender was designed for a 2011 Ford Ranger the curved sections that attach to the bed side were too long. I had to trim 2 1/4 inches (57mm) off the ends and re-drill the tubes to get the bumpers to sit on the tailgate. otherwise easy assembly and installation,.

Works GREAT in a Maverick.
This works great in the 24 Maverick. Especially since the bed is pre drilled for an extender and these receivers fit perfectly with no drilling. The retainer strap strikers fit the bed latches perfectly as well. The only change I made was shortening the spreader bars by 1 inch, otherwise it would be just barely too wide to fit the maverick. I think if I’d have really jammed them it would have worked but cutting an inch off worked great. I bought machine screws, washers and lock nuts to make use of the factory holes, and removed the twilights while installing.

Perfect fit for 2022 Ford Maverick
Very good addition to the truck, much cheaper and larger than the factory option. Build: Mount brackets align with the existing holes in the bed. Notes- 1) toss the crap included hardware and replace with stainless hardware (SHCS locking nuts, and fender washer), add 1/2" (12mm) screw length because otherwise it's hard to get a tool hold on the nut. I also replaced the interior backing plate with fender washers for better load distribution, also had to dremel grind some relief for the screw heads to fit flat. 2) I cut 1 side of the 3 horizontal rear oval bars back 1" (24mm). This way I was able to achieve the side-side width w/o bending the assembly. For finish, I added 3x 1/4" (6.3mm) dia pop rivets to each bar overlap section to maintain rigidity and prevent any movement in the overlap sections. After that, easy peazy, easy on and off, easy to deploy and reset. Great product.

Tight fit
Used this on a 2024 Ford Maverick. I cut about 2 inches off the straight piece so it would be narrow enough for this small bed. Lot more room than what Ford factory item has for half the price. You will have to remove tail light in order to mount the brackets. But this is only 2 screws each side. And figure on making a trip to hardware store for 6 screws and nuts. It are hard to get nuts on. I highly recommend getting stainless screws and nuts with nylon locks on them.

Fit on a ford maverick
It is a little snug but functions great and looks really good. Make sure you read the directions, I got a slightly different version than the one on YouTube, that video had you take off the tail lights and use a metal plate and bolts to attach the mount, the one I got used self tapping screws, no need to take off the tail lights. For maverick owners the gate mount uses the holes that is already on your truck.

Works Great On 2022 Maverick…But
Putting the truck bed extender was only a matter of inserting tubes and strews / bolts. Like someone else mentioned, with the maverick, the smaller size bed extender is still a little big. I used a hacksaw and took 1-1/2” off each end of the straight tubes for total of 3” per straight tube. Perfect fit.My only complaint is the mounting hardware. The extender did not come with steel plates or bolts to mount to the tuck itself. Instructions state to drill holes and put regular screws supplied in. They are wood/metal screws. My lariat was bed lined sprayed from the factory. The screws were too small for the pre-drilled holes. For the meantime, I used plastic drywall anchors and the screws provided. Once the weather warms up in NEPA, I plan on seeking out somewhere for a metal backer plate (to go behind the tailgate assembly and frame of the truck), bolts, washers, lock washers and locking nuts to make this a more stable permanent solution. The main reason for it now is not to have the groceries move all over the bed of the truck. With the necessary hardware, this would’ve been by far a 5 star review.

Prompt shipping. Good Product. But couldn't use it.
I had a 2002 Sport Trac with a one piece cover that hooked in the front of the bed. My 2008 I had just bought has a two piece cover that opens in both ways in the middle. Sadly, the hardware blocks being able to flip the bed extender over. Had to return it. Great customer service.
