Genuine leather! Soft and perfect in size. Very well wrapped for protection. Stitches are again perfect and the lining of the bag is very installed. Funny the leather label inside reminds me of a Coach bag minus the product number which allows one to register a Coach bag. Am also buying a shoulder bag from this company. Am very impressed with the company’s products.

This Heshe purse is just amazing in person! I purchased the Sorrel color and was stunned with the quality and craftsmanship as soon as I got it unboxed. I did end up returning it for a couple of reasons...The shoulder strap only had 4 or 5 holes for lengthening or shortening the overall length. For me, due to my bosom size, I prefer to carry my purses on my shoulder as opposed to cross-body. With this purse, I could not shorten the shoulder strap enough. In the last hole on the strap, the purse still hung down just past my hip (I am 5'7").. this is much lower than I prefer my purse to hang.When the shoulder strap didn't work for me, I tried carrying the purse by slinging the handles over my shoulder. There wasn't enough handle drop to allow any wiggle room when over my shoulder. The purse was literally rubbing my shirt into my armpit. Not an ideal position.Finally, the purse is just too large for my needs and preferences. I did note the measurements before purchasing, however it is just much larger in person. There is also no structure at all. From some of the reviews that include pictures, I thought it would have at least a little structure.. this was not the case for the purse I received. I did fill it with everything I could.. just to see how much it would hold and, when filled completely, it did indeed stand tall as if it was a fully structured purse. But I do not need a mobile office on my shoulder. LOL!Bottom line... sadly, I returned this purse as it just wasn't what I am looking for and it didn't fit my personal style. It is a piece of excellent quality and a lot of love went into crafting it! It filled the room with that lovely leather smell when I removed it from the packaging.. so it is made of real leather (there's just no faking that smell!). I loved the inclusion of the protective nubs on the bottom of the purse! I just wish it had a more adjustable strap or more of a handle drop and had a smidgen more structure.

This is a beautiful purse it is large and very well made I was thinking about changing it and returning it for something smaller but I decided to keep it it's just beautiful.

the picture in the ad is prettier than the purse in real life, a dull plum, but a solid well made purse. Guess I like things with a bit more zip to them, a bit of bling.

This bag (black) is quite beautiful. The leather is lovely. No marks on leather, no nicks on hardware. Zippers open and close very smoothly. I have a 13" computer that slips in effortlessly along with all my other junk. No downsizing necessary for me with this bag. It's not gigantesque, which I was worried about. The over-the-shoulder strap is long enough for me (I'm 5'10"). The bag is stable with enough stuff in it - if not, it'll fall over.Purses and bags like this are a completely new experience. I've really only ever carried backpacks. One was a small Coach, the body of which is perfect and worn beautifully, but the strap stitching came undone after years of wear. The others have all been Jansport backpacks. Hopefully, this will wear well.I bought a somewhat smaller Heshe bag (dubbed on Amazon as "Heshe Leather Shoulder Bag Womens Tote Top Handle Handbags Cross Body Bags for Office Lady" :)) that I would basically say the same about. I sort of prefer that small amount of difference in size and the shape of this smaller bag, but the strap isn't quite as long so it wears higher than I really like. Also it's too small for my 13" computer - it'd never fit in there with all my regular stuff I carry anyway, but the opening won't allow it to go in anyway. I was pretty sure this would be the case when I ordered it, so I can't complain. The only thing I really don't love about it is that the zippered opening isn't the full width of the bag (as compared to the other) so it makes it a little harder to get everything in, just a little.If I were to keep just one bag, it would be the one for this review, but not (so far anyhow) because of any lack on the part of the smaller bag, manufacture, quality, etc., only due to my personal use.My rating is based on having it for a little over a week and I don't that much call to really put it through its paces due to working from home, COVID, etc. Will update if necessary.
