Are the wheels noisy?

Wheels are not noisy. Very well constructed. Great zippers, material is heavy duty.

Is this too big for 1st grade student ???

No, my son had captain America for 1st grade. Made it easy to lug around his laptop, toys for in school daycare and lunch box without back strain. He had blue Spiderman for 2nd grade and the zipper broke today so I just ordered black Spiderman. This should last him until next spring of daily school use. The zippers only last a year of daily open and closing. I always keep the wheel portion and add to other bags. I love the all terrain wheels for curbs and rough ground.

Why doesn’t it come with instructions to assemble?

Hello buyer, the assembly is very convenient, just unscrew the screw, put the pull rod in and tighten, and you are done

Machine washable without the trolley?

Not machine washable as the pattern on the surface may crack after spinning

Great to handle, easy to take stairs as well

Love the product. Easy to handle also great you can take the backpack off separately. Only downside is that it is not possible to fix the backpack firmly to the trolley, one always needs to grab both, the backpack and trolley handle to lift it.
