I purchased this to help dig split rail fence posts. Worked like a charm. I thin used it to break up the soil as I planted my orchard. My small drill kept up with it, and the tool has come in handy all over my hobby farm! Worth the money spent!

Nice set, makes the planting process fo a lot faster. Keep in mind that you need to have a cordless drill to effectively use this product. I had over 200 bulbs to put in, this made it go so much faster than using a hand spade to dig each hole, especially those that need to be 6 - 8 inches deep. Great time saver, received in a timely manner and appears to be well made. Can't go wrong for the price!

i have compacted super rocky soil. cant dig it with a shovel. this helps loosen it up well. the hex shaft is essential so the tool stays locked in the drill chuck.you have to be careful when it catches big stones, because it will wrench the drill and your wrist around.for tougher digging, start with the small one before the big one.

I purchased the 3”x24” auger. Actual dimensions are 2.5”x23.5”. This may not matter to some but the size of the auger is important for my project.

My wife's aunt, who is an avid gardener, came to live with us a couple of years ago and immediately began to improve our flower beds. Looking for a birthday present for her, I thought this auger would help here with the digging. At first, she was skeptical; but after seeing it in action, she became a believer. Now our flower beds are beautiful! I even used the augur to drill the hole for a chain link fence post!This auger is easy to use; just chuck it down in your drill and start digging. One warning - use two hands on the drill. If the bit catches a buried rock or root, the drill will twist your wrist badly. Ask me how I learned this!Recommended!

Worked awesomely on making twelve 2 foot deep holes. Super easy to use and worked perfectly and saved tons of time.

Great auger for garden use- recently used to help bury a fence post/shepherd’s hook. It requires some muscle to avoid having the drill wrenched out of your hands, especially if anything obstructs it. I plan to use it to apply fertilizer to trees
