Makes good Kombucha

I am very sensitive to pesticides - I get bad reactions to even the slightest artificial colourant, flavourant, pesticide etc.This tea is very pure. It is definitely organic! Tastes lovely. And it’s a lot of tea - it will last me a long time.Very happy, thank you.

PRODUCTS SUPPOSE TO BE HIGH QUALITY 100% LEAVES ..BUT IT HAS LOTS OF SMALL STICKS WHICH FLOAT ON THE SURFACE OF THE TEA CUP ..NO GOOD PRODUCT ..I KEEP ORDERING HOPING THE NEXT PATCH WILL NOT HAVE THOSE STICKS ..BUT STILL COMES WITH IT EVERY TIME I ORDER

I'm a fan of high end fancy red teas (known as black tea here in the US) and this is not one of those, but it never gets bitter no matter how long you steep. I've taken to using it for when I'm feeling lazy and want to brew "grandpa style" by throwing tea in a cup, adding hot water, and letting the leaf sink to the bottom. I wouldn't put this in a head to head comparison with something like a high end Taiwanese or Chinese red tea but it is good "regular tea" for making when feeling very lazy.

Brews a great cup of tea, excellent clarity and flavor for hot or iced tea.

Well, it tastes like tea but not exactly what we wanted. It’s good enough to finish the whole package though!

For what I am using it for, it is perfect. It is organic, has a lovely bouquet, mellow taste. Not a fan of black teas, however have been making Kombucha and found that dark (fermented) not green tea is preferred in the brewing process of this probiotic drink. There are stems in it, but usually what you pay for is what you get. For the top tier at Upton's, can be 40 dollars and upwards for 400 Grams of organic black tea. Will update when the first batch of Kombucha is ready.
