This item, and many others in its category have extremely deceptive pictures and names. The item is labeled " footstool cushion" though it should be labeled " footstool cushion only". Because the picture shows the stool frame and the cushion, and you can be directed to it when searching for a particular color of cushion, from a list of nearly identical stools some of which also include the frame it is easy to think that you are ordering both the cushion and the frame. The addition of the word "only" would prevent most people from making that mistake and ordering something that is only half of what they need.

It’s just the cushions. I ordered 2 of these to go with matching chairs. Why would you have the picture be of stools with the cushions if it’s the cushions only.

I am sure that like many others who have made this purchase, I'd been disappointed to not have the pictured stool that this cushion is for. I felt that the stool picture should have been half-toned, to indicate that it isn't offered, only the full toned cushion. Over some time, the cushion will flatten out, and the addition of a zipper would make it much easier to fluff up again. Overall, though, it is well made, of a durable fabric, and I expect it to last a long time. It's quite comfortable to use, and is a decent buy.

I just received my footstool cushion and just like all the other reviews it is not round and it is very poorly sewn on the one Edge that is completely Square. I along with everyone else don't understand why this is so. I gave 3 stars because unlike others my cushion did match the color of the chair cushion. And since I only paid $11.49 for it total including tax I am willing to deal with it. My sister does sew and I'm hoping she can make it look proper. So I advise anyone else to wait till this is on sale for 10 bucks then tax to buy it. I got the forest green color.

The cushion is very soft and pleasant, but unfortunately the stool is not available anywhere but eBay (or at least, nowhere I could easily find). Unfortunately, that makes the cushion worthless to me and I will have to return it. It's a bummer because if it were possible to have it with a footstool, I would absolutely keep it and find it comfortable. I thought I would be getting the stool with the cushion, but that is not the case (and even if it were in stock somewhere, it would bump the total cost of stool and cushion into the $70-$100 range, which is frankly absurd for a stool I intend to leave outside).In short: if you're looking for a replacement cushion for a stool you own already, this one is great! If you're looking for an outdoor stool, keep looking.

This is a companion to the Blazing Needles Swivel Rocker chair cushion, for my papasan ottoman.It was well made and the fabric color matched the chair cushion. It is just as comfortable, and completes the look.My quibble with it is that it is not actually round, but has four distinct rounded corners. This means that it is not a perfect fit for the footstool, which is in fact round. It sort of works but sticks up at two of those corners at all times.I think this is a design flaw that detracts from the overall utility of this cushion. If you can overlook this, the cushion itself is a nice place for your feet to land (or someone's bottom if they're sitting on it). It cushions one's body from the bamboo construction of the footstool.

I did not read the ad carefully and totally missed the fact that it was "twill" not microsuede (like the papasan pillow). It not only is not the same fabric, it is not even the same color. My bad, but it hacks me off that Amazon put them under their "Bought together" feature. Now I have to find the right pillow and buy that. It was essentially a total waste of money.
