Happystep Cotton Terry Cloth Insoles, Barefoot Shoe Inserts, Washable and Reusable, 2 Pairs of White (Women Size 8)

I wanted to see the difference for myself so I bought the Pedag and the HappyStep Terrycloth insoles. I purchased both in (women’s)size 8 even though I am a true 9. Both brands fit perfectly in my size 9 shoes. As other commenters noted, the HappyStep brand is ever so slightly more cushiony, softer. The terrycloth seems a tiny bit thicker. The Pedag are slightly less flexible and a tad thinner—both the insole depth as well as width at the ball of the foot. But the differences are really subtle. If your shoes have a little room in terms of fit and shape/design, I’d go with the HappyStep (like the black loafers pictured). If the shoes are more snug and/or of a slimmer profile (like the black open-sided flats pictured), try the Pedag. Happy with both, so far.

Ladies, do you own flats and are tired of your shoes getting nasty inside? This is the solution. I have wide feet and they fit my shoes perfectly. I own Tieks and These are literally saving the leather soles of my shoes and well as keeping my tootsies fresh and dry.And these can be washed.I highly reccomend these. The price is fair, the shipping was quick and they are made to be used if you don’t want to wear socks with your flats.My no show socks constantly slid off. With these insoles I don’t have to wear skipping socks any longer.I will be ordering a few more sets for backups and other shoes.

I cannot say enough about this product!!! I wear flats to work everyday and my feet sweat like crazy. Sitting at my desk, I often take my shoes off to air my feet out, but my feet smell due to the excessive sweating. I've tried everything from wearing thinner socks, no socks, washing my feet with antibiotic soap, using smelly lotions, foot power, sprays...you name it. This had high reviews but I wasn't expecting much. Before I put in the liners, I washed the inside of my flats with antibiotic soap and when dry I lightly sprayed with foot spray. I then added the liners. The end of day one, I stuck my nose in my shoe and I didn't smell anything! I seriously couldn't believe it. I wore the same liners all week and Friday still no smell! I'm baffled on how these work. They soak up my feet sweat and still don't hold oder. My feet stay dry (well, drier) and don't smell at all. I'm buying enough liners for all my shoes. At the end of the week I remove and hand wash with soap and air dry. Amazing product. They come two pairs in a pack in a nice clear bag. They are narrow in the middle, but they work so I don't care. Shipped fast and just as described. You won't be disappointed.

I’ve tried no show socks before and they are just terrible. They shrink bad in the dryer making it tight on your feet and the problem of them sliding off the back of your heel is so annoying!! When I found these I thought, what a great idea and so far they work very well. I bought the size 11 inserts and they actually fit in my size 10.5 sperry boat shoes. They keep your feet dry and help your shoes not have an odor. 2 pairs for $12 is a great price point in my opinion. These also have a little thickness to them. Go ahead and buy these, you won’t be disappointed.

I don't know how or why these insoles work, I just know that I am OVER-THE-TOP (hence the caps) happy with this product! I was super skeptical because my feet sweat BAD and nothing has worked. Ever. I have tried every powder, awful socks that slip like crazy, shoe spray and the little "sneaker balls... and NOTHING worked. Until now! These little guys fit perfectly, provide a little extra cushion and they don't slide in either my work shoes OR my sneakers.I wear flats and heels to work during the week and boat shoes/sneakers on the weekends preferably without socks, even in the winter. I am on my feet a lot and dread taking my shoes off ANYWHERE because of the "corn chip" smell seeping out of my footwear. My daughter has the same problem (we don't like socks much) and I had her smell my shoes this weekend. Kid you not...she went and ordered 2 sets for herself.So long story short: These insoles solve the sweaty feet and foot odor problem.TIPS:~ I did clean the inside of my work shoes with hand sanitizer before placing the soles in my shoe, but I didn't with my Converse. I can't really tell a difference, but had read it helped in other reviews.~ I ordered 1 size smaller and they fit perfectly. I normally wear a size 10M in all shoes and the 9 fit exactly.~ They will fit inside ballet shoes. These insoles are flexible enough to fit comfortably. I was a little worried because the shoes "curve" up with the elastic sides. I have them on now and no slipping at all.This is the longest review I have ever written---that's how much I love them! These insoles aren't the best quality - they feel very synthetic when wearing them but even worse, the bottom rubber part fell apart after the first time I washed them. I didn't put them in the dryer or anything, but they started coming apart so I won't be using them. Pedag makes much better ones.

A great alternative to socks. Feels surprisingly wonderful, cushy and comfy. I did notice my footwear fitting a little tighter than if I was wearing socks. So expect that (unless you usually wear really thick socks).Only semi-negative is I wish the heels were a little wider -- sometimes they shift a little and when they do, I can feel the edge of the Happy Step under my heel. I've gotten used to that, but it's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.Overall though, well constructed. They don't get soggy or scrunch up no matter how sweaty my feet get even during a workout. And they feel nicer against the soles of my feet than my socks do. Will be interesting to see how well they hold up, for how long. But I'll probably order a 2nd 2-pair pkg regardless.

Lovely, very pleased indeed with these insoles, they fit perfectly, are soft and comfortable, haven’t had cause to wash them yet, hoping they will be fine when I do.

I wasn't going to leave a review but they keeping spamming me to do so here it goes. The sellers have clearly never worn or even tested these soles for barefoot use, they are far too narrow for any brand I possess (I go barefoot 99% of the time for years now). They fit "ok" in my regular (non bareboot) shoes, and are in fact quite comfortable. If the seller didn't advertise these as Barefoot, let alone "the best" Barefoot insoles I would of given these a 3 star.

So my dog got at a pair of shoes a while back and destroyed the insole of one of them (glued insole). I eventually decided to buy these to replace the destroyed one. I decided to not rip out the other shoe's insole so i can do a side-by-side comparison, and wow these new ones are amazing. So soft, breathable, and not sticky whatsoever compared to the original leather interior of the shoe. I then ripped out the other insole so they can both be these new ones.I just got these so I don't have any long-term review, but first impression is really good. I was barefoot when I did the trial and I didn't find them too narrow. Yes, these are narrow within the shoe, but my foot falls on it perfectly nonetheless (I have wide feet).I had two mens pairs of shoes which needed the insole replaced. One was a size 8, other a size 7. Looked at a sizing chart and apparently womens size 9 is a mens 7.5, so it would fit both shoes decently, and it does.

I bought the size 9 because of previous reviews suggesting I buy the smaller size. I use them in size 42 Geox shoes (9 to 9.5 depending on who you ask.) They are ever so slightly too small, but close enough that it works well. I love them! They keep my feet more level than most insoles, and give me a bit more space in the toebox area as they are thinner. They are very comfortable, and are easy to swap from shoe to shoe. The fact you can wash them is a major bonus.

I am very happy with these washable insoles. Thin and soft, with a terrycloth top layer and rubber backing (so they don't slip in your shoes). The black ones are perfect, as they don't show the dirt. They can be taken out and washed, or put into other shoes.These are wonderful to wear in flats. They are keeping my feet cool, dry and comfortable. I am thinking of buying more.

I bought them last summer, and liked that they are black, the terry cloth surface was soft. The first time I washed them they were great, always air dried them. After the third wash the rubbery bottom started to lift off, and stick to the inside of my shoes. Not the end of the world. I put them away as I only use shoe insoles during the summer when I don't wear socks.I pulled them out last week as the weather is warming, and the bottoms are completely stiff and brittle. If I try and bend them, they crack. Only good for the garbage now. I will never buy again.

I use them in all my high heels! They prevent sliding and absorb moisture making my heels more comfortable cuz no one wants to wear socks in high heels. I wished they were adhesive but its maybe better with out adhesive. I can switch them from my heels to my flats throughout the night without having to use 2 pairs so that's a plus!

I haven't washed these yet so maybe my review will change when I do. I like the idea that they are washable. I have put these in my flats @ work. My shoes that I like don't seem to breathe and sometimes my shoes have gotten funky b/c sometimes the length of my pants doesn't make socks an option. These seems to absorb any moisture that might accumulate and so far no funk. They are also make the shoes more comfy to wear barefoot.
