Are these dishes oven safe? We don’t own a microwave and use toaster oven instead.

No it is not oven safe. Only microwave and dishwasher safe. But because of the lip might not fit your dishwasher. It fits mine .

How do these plates fit into the dishwasher? Will the tall lip make it awkward to load in the dishwasher?

the big plates did not fit in my dishwasher, the lip was too big

Are the plates heavy?

I wouldn’t consider it heavy. It’s stoneware so not as light as Corell. I really like the simplicity of the dishes.
