Great product! Drilled a hole in my 5 gal kettle to install this. It was also calibrated to the right temp, which was great. One thing to note, and the only reason I knocked a star, is that you'll most likely need to add plumbers tape to the threads. It kept leaking without it. If the product came with some tape it'd be 5 stars hands down.

It's good
I have bought 3 of them . Only reason I bought 3 is because 1 of the 2 I purchased the oring in between the glass and case started coming out and the dial wouldn't work right could have been human error. I couldn't find seller contact info so for the money i bought another . That being said, good product would buy again.

low temp range
Bought these for my cold smoker I builtCouldn't be more pleased. did a few temp accuracy tests when I received them and they had very minimal margin to what I anticipated.Having two to compare, they were definitely consistent with one another.I give my endorsement of this product - the only improvement would require spending much more money to go digital just to have tenths of a degree show up - a +/- 1 degree is good enough for my needs.
