Not made we’ll; Wouldn’t recommend!
The installation was straightforward enough, but the lights on the other side of the splice wouldn’t light. I destroyed about $60 worth of strip lighting because I thought the original light strip was bad. Opened a new one and had to cut it to attach it with these connectors and the new strip didn’t work either. Only then did I discover when you push on the connector the rest of the lights will come on. It seems that the connector design doesn’t apply enough pressure when it’s closed to make a proper connection. So now I have to replace the strip lights and still can’t complete the project the way I want because these connectors don’t work. These seemingly inexpensive simple connectors have turned out to be very costly for me!

Adds flexibility to strip light uses
Purchased for use with some Feit strip LED lights I purchased at Costco. This kit allowed me to cut the Feit light strip into sections and reassemble with right angles to frame the back of a bookcase for dramatic lighting. You need to be precise in cutting the strips at the marked locations and peeling back the soft gel to expose the contacts for use with these connectors. With patience and a good sharp xacto blade you can make this work excellent.

instructions lacking
Product worked well after much trial and error in how to remove the plastic covering of the led light strip and make the proper connection with this product. Detailed instructions are not included. Had to strip my light strip with razor blades and took a bit longer to figure the best way to strip without damaging the connection.

know what you’re doing
I don’t guess there’s anything wrong with the item. I just didn’t know how to make it happen so I haven’t put that together with the LED lights.

Don’t worry about rgb order.
Exactly what I needed. Don’t worry about the order of the ‘rgbw+‘ as long as it’s the correct number of pins and width, you’re good. Just make sure you do the same orientation on your connections.
