Very simple and easy to assemble. Partially filled, it was exactly as needed for rolling a newly seeded lawn area. Now, will it roll down mole tunnels if I fill it up. Not sure, but crossing my fingers. Either way, I'm very happy with it and I'm sure it will find enough use to earn it's keep. Light weight when empty, so can be lifted onto hangers and doesn't take up a lot of space in the garage.

Used this for the entire lawn, filled it with water for my use. You can fill it with sand or water. Worked well, great price. This was a great size for my 1500 square foot lawn. Have to empty it when you are done. Good for sod as well. Served its purpose and was needed for the redo of my lawn.

Seems well made, and was easy to assemble. Filled with water, and it had a tiny hole, and it began to leak. Hopefully some jb weld can patch it. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a one time use.

This came with no instructions! Fortunately, Amazon had pictures of it and had a close-up of how the barrel attached to the handle. Still, we needed to use a wrench to bend the pins in order to tighten. We used a wrench and socket set to tighten the nuts and bolts. Assembly wasn't particularly difficult, but instructions would have been so much better and it was helpful to have two people working on it together.The hole for the water is pretty small, but we were able to make a funnel that helped.I purposely looked for the smallest width of a lawn roller that I could find, because we have limited storage space. We have a large lawn, but I knew we wouldn't be rolling the lawn very often. Size-wise, I think this was a good choice.We have severe damage from groundhogs and tree roots, so I'm not sure if this has enough weight to be effective for our situation, but it is lightweight enough to be very easy to use. I rolled the lawn last night and it did make some progress. I will have to roll it several times. I think this will be just the right size for the garden area when I need to level paving stones.Even though we used a wrench and socket set to tighten the nuts and bolts, the handle was still a bit loose. I only mention that in case the manufacturer wants to try to improve it. It didn't really make make a difference in use.

One of the support bars wouldn’t screw in, so it will work, not great, but doable. I’ve had it for a year and it has rusted but still works!

The good part fist- is cheap, the cost of purchase and recycling may cover 2 days of renting from HDLess good- is cheap, leaking, missing welds, poor design, flimsy handle, sloppy manufacturing, it won't last long. I just asked the vendor to replace the drum. Returning can be a pain due to size and weight.

Did the job packing grass seed into soil.

My husband does above ground pool installation and it use to take him hours to pack down the sand now with this product it’s cuts it in half.
