Great product. Easy to apply.
Great price for the only product that I really knew of to do this job. My sandblasted 1yo 5-coat hull was sanded through the barrier in about 50 spots by sloppy boatyard service who will not allow me to do any bottom work and will charge me for recoating what they did, so I bought this to do the 50+ areas on the sneak. Not much to say other than it is easy to mix up even in partial quantities - I simply counted spoonfuls. It is best to be overcoated by ablative before it cures for a chemical adhesion but that was impossible so relying on mechanical adhesion of the ablative. Now that the boat has been hauled for winter it seems to have held up well over the season.

Worth the money
If you are painting a boat, you need this primer to go under your finish paint. It is very stinky, so must be applied somewhere well ventilated, and it is not cheap. But if you want a proper job that will hold up and look good, you need this primer. Read the directions carefully. This is not like house paint that can be applied in almost any weather. It also needs a good roller or brush - don't waste time with the cheap stuff.

Great coverage quick application
Used on my cast iron keel. I was able to get 4-5 good coats on entire keel for great primed surface for paint. Dries fast cures less than 48 hours. I will definitely use again

Great Barrier coat and general purpose primer
I love InterProtect. In addition to using it as a barrier coat it makes a very durable and chemical resistant General purpose primer for metals which is great in a marine environment. Where a fine finish is not required, like parts in an engine room, I don’t even use a topcoat. And it still leaves a decent, gloss free, looking finish.

Perfect
Applies easy, sandable after it dries, its holding up well after two years of mooring in clear freshwater. I suggest this product.
