VencoColor Licorice Kleurendrop 5.8 Oz (Pack of 2)

Can’t get anything like it here in the states. My husband is Dutch and introduced them to me and always had to wait for a family visitor to bring. Not anymore thanks to Amazon!

Very tasty licorice candy from Venco based in the Netherlands. Packaging and candies themselves are much brighter and colorful than the description picture indicates. All colors are same flavor. Interior is a black chewy licorice (like a rope) with a hard sugary shell encasing it, but easy to bite through. Similar to the "Good and Plenty" candy you find in the US, but far superior in taste and quality in my opinion.Have sampled a variety of the Venco licorices - all quite good. Kleurendrop, Honingdrop and Katjesdrop are all sweeter licorice (like normal black licorice). Dubbelzout are decent option if you like the salted black licorice (salmiakki).

The licorice center was stale and not much flavor. The exterior candy shell was good but I love black licorice and this was indeed disappointing. Won’t buy again
