Size not accurate
I ordered these pants for my grandson. He’s always been one to have to buy slims, or at the very least, with the adjusters in the waist. I bought a 14 slim, as he typically wears a 12/14. I figured that would give him a little room. He came home yesterday, and tried them on, and he couldn’t even get them over his butt. I went to try and return them, and found the last day to return them was the day before. This was the first time I had to try them on, since he was gone, and now I can’t exchange them because of one day. A 14 slim should have definitely fit him, so the size isn’t accurate.

Size up if you want room to grow
My son is currently size 6 in all his pants and shorts and has a little room to grow. He just turned 6. With this style, keep in mind that it’s designed to be snug in the hips and butt and loose in the whole leg. I am exchanging the size 6 I got him for a size 7 after seeing him try them on. The length is great and the width in the legs is great, but they’re super tight on his butt and hips. He can barely sit down. They are 100% cotton and I know myself… I will probably accidentally shrink them in the washer or dryer. If I do then they won’t fit anymore for sure. The tag says cold wash and hang dry or low dry, but I have too many kids to do this for just one pair of kid’s pants 😅. Even if I did successfully, I doubt they would fit him through the next six months. Luckily Amazon makes exchanges fast and easy.Great quality, snug sizing — unless your kid has no butt whatsoever.

Passes the 5-y-o boy Wrecking Ball test
My 5-y-o son has put holes in the knees of every pair of jeans he's owned (prior to these). Once the weak spot starts, he picks and pulls at the hole until the knee line is completely torn from seam to seam before I even have a chance to reinforce or mend it. I think he's finally met his match with these jeans, because they are thicker than most blue jeans. And he loves the thought of "Cowboy tough" jeans. They have buttons in the waistband allowing a tighter or looser fit. I'll definitely be buying these again when he outgrows these.

Unreturnable
My son likes wrangler products. The cowboy cut was too small in the hips. He wears 16 regular and that's what I ordered. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to exchange. Something about new covid rules. I can exchange shirts and other clothing, just not these jeans. Stuck with jeans that can't be worn. >:( I will not be ordering any more from Amazon and I canceled orders for all pants/jeans because they can't be exchanged or returned.

when we waited till he grew a little, these pants are perfect length and width!
My grandson is in the 75th percentile in height and 25th percentile in weight. I purchased these jeans because the come in 1T slim. Most of his pants get too short and never do fit in the waist. He is currently in 12 month length, but his pants are 3" too big in the waist. I purchase these wranglers because they should come closer to fitting, right? Not even close. They are bigger all over than 12 month pants (except the length) - they are same in hips and waist, but 1" shorter than his 18 month levis. The waist on the Wrangler 1Tslim is 19" - which doesn't look too great on a 15" waist. So if you have a slender guy that needs pants, this isn't it. Gave 2 stars for general quality. They would be nice pants for somebody else - I need to update this review! Over the last month, my daughter has mentioned a few times that this pair of jeans is her absolute favorite for my grandson. He has been growing like a weed for the last several months and this is the only pants he has that are not way too big in his waist at the same time the length is perfect for him!

Cutest Pants on a Toddler and just like the adult wranglers! Great Quality
I LOVE these little pants! My son had a pair that we found at a thrift store and I was so sad when he out grew them. I looked around at our local western outfitter store and they had this same kind, but for about five dollars more than here on Amazon, so I figured since I was buying two pair, I might as well save some money. I bought two sizes for my son, 3T and 4T. Right out of the bag, they fit him PERFECT! The 3T. But I was worried, because I knew that once I dried them, they would be a little small, but I followed my husbands advice and kept them and washed and went against my intuition and dried them as well. Well I was right, now that they have been dried they are a tiny bit too small for him. He wears several other brands of jeans right now that fit him perfect in a 3T, mostly things from The Children's Place and their 3T fits him perfect. So I would order up a size, because they also have the adjustable fit in the waist or if you order the size your child is wearing then do not plan on drying them. But besides that, these are great pants. They hold up great. He often gets holes in his jeans around the knees, but never his wranglers. And who can resist a little boy in wranglers, cutest thing ever!! The color is exactly what you see here and they are just as thick as the wranglers you buy in adult sizes! Love them!

Great Quality
My son is 20 months old and wears size 2T in most things and these fit him perfectly aside from being a little bit long but most pants are on him as he is a bit on the short side, but when he wears these with his boots they are the perfect length. The quality is really great as well and they look super cute on him, I will definitely be buying more!

they seem very sturdy. So if they were sized right and he ...
My son wears a regular size 12 pants. The regular size 12 which I purchased of this product was too tight in the hips even when I completely adjusted it all the way out. My son couldn't even zip them all the way up. I have old size 8 pants that I've been saving to give away to his cousins that are larger and looser than these. But these too tight jeans are almost size 14 length. If not for the tag and the stickers all over them I would have assumed that the sizing was a manufacturer error. I even referred to the sizing chart on the product webpage and measured him with a seamstresses tape measure to make sure I was ordering the right size. He's a completely average kid. What the heck Wrangler? On the plus side, they seem very sturdy. So if they were sized right and he could wear them they might be a decent pair of pants.
