The reason this is best as a desk clock, is that it's hard to read from farther away. Other than that, it's a nice design.

Stylish clock, but nearly impossible to read the hands from more than a few feet way due to poor contrast with the clock face. Wish the hour and minute hands were black instead.

Love it!! Well made, keeps time. Looks great on the mantle by my new modern fireplace.
