Quantitative Proof I Sleep Better on a Casper - Ruined my Sex Life
First I feel obligated to write this review because I saw that all of the top reviews on Amazon were all negative and I just can't understand how that is the case. I understand different people have different preferences, and maybe that is the case here, but I was surprised to see this.My wife and I have always loved memory foam mattresses to begin with. We love how they contour around your body and give you that "hug" feeling. Before a Casper we owned a memory foam mattress made by Serta that was sold at Sams Club. The queen size was approx. $400. We liked it, but it definitely got hot at times like the "typical" memory foam mattress. We moved and decided we wanted to upgrade to a King mattress and started shopping. We decided on a Casper based on many reviews I had read and also comparison done by sleepopolis of the various online mattresses like Tuft and Needle, Purple, and the likes. My top two choices were between Tuft and Needle and Casper. Tuft and Needle was cheaper but it also seemed like it was a cheaper mattress, it only had two different foam layers, the top layer and the base layer. The Casper had 5 different types of foam and looked like a higher quality product (photos on sleepopolis). Both had 100 night trials so I figured I'd start with one and try the other if I didn't like it.We bought Casper on a lightning deal on Amazon for $899 King size, which is a steal about 3 months ago! Once it was delivered we put it out on our platform bed base and let it rise, it did not seem to take very long, a day at most, for it to be full size. The cover is removable and very soft and comfortable. First thing I noticed is this memory foam mattress had a lot more bounce to it than my last mattress, but still had the contouring effect that we like.I hardly noticed a bad smell, and I have very good smell/taste senses. Any smell that was there was gone within a day or two. The mattress definitely keeps you cool and I have never felt hot on it once. I would give the mattress an overall soft feel but still with firm support from the base layers. It is extremely comfortable. Make sure not to use a waterproof mattress cover because this bed has breathable foam and when you cover it with a mattress cover like that it seemed to ruin the softness and breath-ability of the mattress as a whole because not matter how "breathable" a waterproof mattress protector is, it still cannot move air through it the way this mattress was designed to work. We stuck with just the cover that is on it with a fitted sheet. My wife has lupus and that means her joints and muscles can hurt a lot as if she had run a marathon from just daily life. My wife has told me that at night all that pain goes away and when she wakes up after sleeping on this mattress she feels rejuvenated and ready for another day. I am not exaggerating. I have noticed a difference in her frequency and severity of comments about pain, they have both lessened significantly. I also have lower back pain, but this mattress helps relieve it, not create it. I wake up with no pain in my back whatsoever when sleeping on this mattress and I sleep on side, stomach, and back. I feel that at all times I am supported and my spine is aligned. Now for the quantitative proof. I have a fitbit that tracks my sleep. It does this through heart rate monitoring. It tracks how much time you spend in each phase of sleep from awake, light, REM, and deep sleep. With my previous mattress I would get around 14% deep sleep and I would be awake about 18%. I have slept on this mattress for 3 months, and now my average deep sleep has increased to 18% (sometimes getting as high as 22%) and my awake has decreased to 14% (with lows in the 10%). This means I am spending less time consciously or unconsciously awake and more time in deep sleep on a Casper mattress. Most the time, if you are tossing and turning it is because there are pressure points on your body where you are laying and you are moving to a new position because that pressure was too much and began to be uncomfortable and so you move to alleviate it. There are nights I go to bed and basically don't move from the position I fell asleep in because that pressure is being relived by the mattress and you really do feel like you are just sleeping on a cloud. I know that sounds cliche but there is no better way to explain it.We joke about how this bed ruined our sex life because it is so comfortable and inviting that when you lay down on it, you instantly want to fall asleep, causing us to miss out on other activities.A few complaints. Because the mattress comes rolled and compressed in a box, when unfolding and allowing to come to full size, I did have to adjust the cover and the corners were a bit squished on one side (the inner side of the compressed rolled up mattress) almost to deformity, but they have since recovered, but this took weeks to occur. The mattress is breathable and the latexy foam on the top does transfer a bit of motion only when one person is laying down already, and another gets onto the bed, you get a very slight feel of the bed "adjusting" to both of you, almost like an air mattress, but a lot less aggressive. Once the person is on the bed though, normal movements at night like rolling over and stuff cannot be felt between companions.Overall we are very happy with our purchase and will be keeping it. We love this mattress. I am honestly confused with these negative reviews because we love it so much. Just try it for yourself, you have nothing to lose, they will come pick it up within 100 nights if you don't like it, and yes the warranty period does apply to Amazon purchases, my current purchase says it is still eligible for return until Oct 13 2018 and I received it July 5, exactly 100 days after it was delivered.

Took a little bit to acclimate but we are both pleased
We had a 14 year old Sleep Number bed that the padded topper was just completely shot on and was going to cost $800 to replace through the company. I had been researching mattresses for about a month when I got an amazon daily email on 2/13 that the queen version of this mattress was $200 off and jumped on the order. Figured, 100 days to try it out, how bad could it be. Reviews between Amazon and the Casper website were excellent and I noted a few other Sleep Number converts, also. For reference, i'm 5'4" and was a Sleep Number 30 (my side of the bed looked completely uninflated lol), former stomach sleeper that converted to side sleeping while pregnant about 10 years ago. Husband is around 210 and varied his sleep number between 60-80. He is a back sleeper (and a horrendous snorer lol), and he also has a bad back.Received the mattress on a Thursday. We dismantled the Sleep Number bed and cut this package open and got it into place. We have a full queen bed frame with a headboard and footboard and had our old Sleep Number bed on the solid platform (it's a big solid plastic box essentially). We put this right on top of that. The corners weren't puffing up to size right away so I did a live chat w/Casper and they recommended that I unzip the cover and it would help the foam air out and would allow the corners to puff up. We left it like that for 2 nights and slept in our guest room just to make sure it was nicely aired out. (it didn't smell terrible, but, there was that noticeable foam odor). While it did air out I do notice that the corners never completely puffed back up and squared off like they show in the pictures but, that's ok. Also, the removable cover is beautiful and soft.Husband acclimated right away. He sleeps like the dead so this wasn't a surprise. I knew it would take me a while to get used to it, but I honestly was't prepared for how bad it would be. The mattress felt like I was laying on the driveway and I had weeks and weeks of virtually sleepless nights. Tons of tossing and turning, and side sleeping was a complete fail because both of my arms went numb from shoulder to fingertips. I also had neck pain and middle back pain off to one side... I did another live chat and the kind rep said to just give it a little more time and that the top layer of the mattress would soften up a little bit. After a few more nights of sadness, frustration, and tears, it did get better. Without me thinking about it I actually started stomach sleeping again and that seemed to do the trick! We are now about 42 days in to our trial and I am sleeping so much better! The mattress has softened up just enough to make it feel snuggly, not like i'm laying on the ground, and I am able to comfortably sleep on my stomach and side. Husband gets up earlier for work and before when he got up the air in our chambers would shift and it felt like I was rolling off of a cliff. Now i don't even know he's out of bed.Husband's only complaint is that the room is hot when he sleeps and keeps the ceiling fan on warp speed. I love being hot when I sleep and i'm chronically cold to begin with so I don't mind it at all but, it's still winter here in the NE and the heat is still on... I'm scared to see how hot the mattress is for him in the summer. We will see I guess. So as of right now we are both pleased and i'm relieved that i've acclimated. He does sleep in different positions periodically throughout the night so it does seem like he is snoring less which is great, too.I will continue to update as time passes! But I will say if you're a smaller person like me, please give it time and don't give up!

Fantastic mattress! Great quality, great price.
We ordered the king size Casper mattress and were more than happy with our purchase. The order shipped right away and arrived on time. We've been sleeping on it for about 2 months now and we love it. The mattress is medium firm (in my opinionl, but your body snuggles right in while still keeping your shoulders and hips supported. It is easily our dogs favourite mattress in the house. Definitely a good buy!

Perfect Sleep
Both myself and my husband are beyond satisfied with this mattress. The one we were using prior to this one was a double not a queen size and extremely thick and heavy. I'm not sure of the make as it had no tags and was passed on to us from family. However, we loved it so initially thought getting this Casper mattress would be nice due to the size (queen) but there was no way it would be as comfortable. Now, I am happy to report that we honestly love this Casper sleep mattress even more!I'm not even sure how to describe how comfortable it is. It feels firm yet soft. It holds its form while giving the body just the right amount of cushion. I don't notice when my husband tosses around in the night and there's no "hill" from his body weight. I'm not sure if others would know what I meant by that but I've slept on several mattresses where his body will sink into them more than mine. So, when I lay too close to him I feel as though I'm laying on an ever so slight incline, but is always enough to annoy me.From the first night with this mattress both my husband and myself had a great sleep. We had no soreness or stiffness caused by adjusting to a new mattress. We love it and are so happy we had the opportunity to discover that an even better one existed. Otherwise, we probably would have continued to over extend the life of our old one to avoid the stress of finding another mattress we were both happy with.

Not for me but good quality product
I had to return this mattress as it really hurt my lower back. I am still giving it a great review because it’s simple to set up and seemed like a great quality mattress. There was no odour. Super fast delivery. I found it comfortable until I woke up in the morning. I think this is a great product unfortunately just not for me.
