Got this for some rescue cats that needed caged for several weeks. This was the perfect solution to their water bowl which they kept knocking over, getting litter, blankets and toys in. I found this and they loved it. Was able to put it up a little higher for them to keep it clean and fresh from their shenanigans.

Works perfectly. I attached it to the front of my dog’s crate and he now has access to water at all times. Very happy with this purchase.

Unfortunately, I had to return this product. However, it would have worked perfectly.I wanted to use this for my pet’s carrier. The problem with it is that the piece that is supposed to go through the metal bars was too big. My carrier has square holes on the door about an 1x1 inches (a standard carrier at Walmart). This particular product would need an opening at least 3-4 inches long in order to fit through. That is my reason for returning.Before I realized this, I did test the functionality. It was easy to put together and had a great water capacity for 2 cats. I tested to see if it would leak by shaking it and tipping it and there was no water splashing or dripping thanks to the plastic floating plate. (What a great design). I had to shake the thing hard for water to spill out. This would be perfect for travel. If you have a large dog I would recommend something that holds more water, though.Overall, If I had the right carrier for this product I would have kept it. It’s perfect. But before you purchase, look at the photos other people have posted on how it fits through carriers to save you the return process.

This has been a pleasant experience for us. It was very easy to install and our dog loves it. He will go into the kennel for a drink even when he doesn't have to be kenneled. When we do kennel him it makes us feel better about being gone .

I got this waterer to introduce water to our litter of puppies! It is a success! It is very sturdy, and grips well to the wire grate of the playpen. It comes with a 16 oz bottle but I felt that maybe too small for our litter of 7 puppies. I finally decided on a 1.5 liter square bottle of FIGI water. The original screw top fit perfectly just remove the blue cap ring! Also the Poland Spring bottles do not have enough thread for the screw top to fit properly. The FIGI bottle fits flat against the grate! There is no leakage with this alteration. I have recommended it to our club members. The pictures are from after I made the change to the original bottle provided.Only wish it came in a larger size for our adult dogs!

It works very well, but be aware that you should not buy this if your dog is a chewer. My elderly 12 pound dachshund did this in about an hour. At least he was entertained, but I think he lost some teeth.

So far so good. Got this for our 2 cats for when they have to go into their kitty tower cage when we go out. The bowl is wide and shallow which is what we wanted since we have a dwarf cat. It can be placed anywhere which is nice to keep it clean and away from the litterbox. Our big cat loves it. She uses it more as a toy though. Outside the tower she stands and reaches her paw through the bars to play in the bowl and figured out how to make the bottle disperse bubbles. To keep it clean for drinking water we will only put water in the bottle/bowl when they need to be in it. Now we just have to find her a water toy with bubbles.As far as leakage goes it is very minimal. There is a ball that keeps the water from dumping out when you go to change it. Just a couple of drops make it out.
