Q: Are the ankles tight? I bought the blanqi compression leggings, and they fit well aside from the ankle/lower shin area. Very strange.

No not really. The material is very stretchy, fitted and thick. I bought the blanqi leggings too and I think these are way better!

Q: What kind of material are these?

Possibly spandex and Cotten mixture...very comfortable love the stomach support as well

Q: Are these see through?

These are not see-through and are very comfortable. They look exactly the same as the Blanqi ones but the blanqi leggings offer support and compression, these do not. I have both and am very happy with them.
