These containers weren't bought to just store food in, but to seal jars that didn't have the 2 piece lids. And they work perfectly!In the UK we really haven't caught up when it comes to vacuum sealing all manner of food items, but being able to use any jars and not have to buy them is a game changer, not only cost wise but to just recycle what most of us already have.If you just want to store and seal food in them then I'd say they are very expensive just for that use. But for me while still expensive they're worth every penny.

Brilliant for dry foods
Amazing product! Three sizes of air tight canisters that can be used for storage, or use in vacuuming mason jars! Love em. Super fast delivery from USA ๐บ๐ธ definitely recommend ๐

Worked very well, very good! too good! untill it came time to open!
Loved them! worked very well sealed well no problem, until it came time to open one of them! turned the top to 'open' nothing happened, no inrush of air, it just stayed vacuumed!!! Tried REALLY pulling the lid off, nope! vacuum was well and truly keeping the lid vacuumed on!! I had to break the side of the container to release the vacuum in the end! I could see no other way of releasing the vacuum to get inside. Opened a return with Amazon and all 3 are on there way back for a refund! I would much rather have kept them if they had worked as they should have done! I did expect them to work given the price they were here in the UK. At least buying from Amazon it is easy to return if you have a problem with them.
