Panasonic WER224S7398 Beard Comb Attachment

Fine, for the moment. This is the 2nd replacement of this part--it is rather brittle, fragile. I believe the flaw is in the original design, so not much you can do about it. The previous replacement lasted for 7 years, so... acceptable I guess.

I'm glad this part was available. My old one shattered into 4 pieces when I dropped it headfirst into my empty bathtub. Considered using super glue, but experience with plastic parts told me it wouldn't work the same. Was *this close* to buying a brand new one when I thought, Amazon MUST have a replacement part, and they did!Fits just like the old one. I just wish there was a less rigid plastic version (or possibly even metal) that could take a beating; it looks like it's got the same brittle-ness as the old one. I doubt it cost nearly as much to make as the listed price, but it's still worth getting rather than buying a whole new electric clipper.

It keeps my beloved trimmers alive, but its fragility and high price are major drawbacks. If you can find a more durable alternative, go for it. But if you, like me, are attached to your Panasonic trimmer, you'll likely end up needing this, despite its flaws.
