I bought these glasses several months ago and they are my favorite for wine. The thin lip, size and shape enhance the wine drinking experience. They appear to be pretty sturdy because I have not broken a glass. I hand wash them. I will purchase them again, when needed.

Spiegelau is an amazing brand of crystal wine glasses - a simple design in thin, beautiful crystal, this definitely heightens the enjoyment of a glass of wine, including white wine (not just for reds or Bordeaux, etc.) They are quite thin - easy to break. And you definitely want to hand wash and use a flour sack (very soft) towel to dry that won’t leave a lot of lint behind. Also, my latest purchase of these (replacing some that had broken) had one glass with a tiny black speck embedded in the bell part of the glass. These usually come with a number indicating they’ve been inspected on the side of the glass but this set of 4 did not for some reason (it’s easily rubbed off). Ah well - who cares. But just letting you know - this is for the most part a perfect wine glass, highly recommend, but occasionally there may be a flaw here or there.

High quality Chrystal, thin but strong, great look and the price is right! We have 6 boxes for dinner parties and guests.

I recently broke two other blown glass white wine glasses, so I researched for replacements for a while before I decided. Love the delicate glass, but it has enough weight not to be overly fragile. A well balanced, beautiful glass. Hopefully for a good time to come.Edit: 5 minutes after posting, a glass shattered in my hand. I wasn't rough with it on any way, it just cracked and disintegrated. I have three left roughly three hours after opening the package. This may have been a big mistake

I initially ordered another brand that I returned immediately after opening as the build quality was poor. Then I was at a winebar in NYC that had THIS exact Spiegelau glass and loved it so much, I bought them instead. Very thin rim, no seam in the stem, lovely large bowl, and very elegant.

I was trying to find wine glasses to replace ones from my existing set that had broken. I bought 2 sets before these and returned them because they weren’t right. While these are slightly larger than my existing ones, the shape is the same! Luckily they have a very subtle stamp on the bottoms with the name so I’ll know for next time. As far as quality, they are definitely better than the ones I had, I can tell just by hand washing them that the glass is superior. Both are crystal sets but these new ones are much better. I’m very happy with this set, better than expected.
