Tilleyunisex-adult T3 Wanderer Hat Sun Hat

Modern twist on a classic
Brought this for my teenage son’s Duke of Edinburgh hikes.I own many Tilley hats, all are great providing comfortable sun or rain protection and are great for long walks, the sweat band and grommets ensure your head never gets too hot and sweaty. The fit is loose but comfortable and the cords ensure the hat stays on in the wind. But the look is too old and formal for a teenager, this is where the Wanderer comes in, all the above Tilley qualities but in a more modern package, black grommets, leather patch label, pre washed for softness.Showerproof as well as sun protection, wide brim that can be snapped up for hood, phone use or map reading and very soft so can be shoved into rucksack. All I all very impressed, great hat he will weR and know great protection.Highly recommended, expensive but will last a lifetime, I regularly wear my Tilley from 20 years ago.

It'll last a lifetime!
Best hat... Period. My dad has had the same tilley hat for over 20 years and never broken in any way, and this one appears no different in quality. Perfect stitching, light, waterproof, and looks so cool with the folded up sides. Great for anyone that travels, works outside, or just for pootling round a national trust garden in both sun and storms.

Well worth the extra cost.
Love it. I used their sizing chart and was nervous how it would work out but it fits perfect. Took a while to get into Austria but well worth the wait.

Good quality but careful on size
Really good quality fabric, colour as expected and quality metal studs. Size guide is tricky, I am normally 6 7/8ths but ordered a 7, which I had to return and in the end got a 7 1/2 to be comfortable. Seller dispatched order very quickly, Royal Mail I but slow at present due to pingdemic at local sorting office.

It's a tilley whats not to like
It's a tilley hat, what's not to like. I still have my original tilley bought in Toronto in 1987. And it's still going strong. Hopefully I will still be wearing the wanderer in 30 years time. ( especially as that means I will be 97! )
